I have been through alot with trying to first find someone to diagnose my problems, let alone know how to treat them. As soon as I started seeing Dr. Shimer, she knew exactly how to treat and diagnose my endometriosis. With other doctors I felt as though they didn't really care, didn't try to understand and that I was running in a circle over over-medicating myself with little to no results. It was immediately different with Dr. Shimer. I really felt as though she understood how I was feeling and cared about it as well. I feel that she was very proactive in my treatment, and also listened to me, when I told her what was and wasn't working.
