I recently (June 18, 2007) had an anterior and posterior repair done by Dr. Hardesty. He is a very compassionate man who shows he cares about his patients. I am currently 5 days post op and am off of all pain medications. I do still have a catheter but will hopefully have it removed in two days. I give Dr. Hardesty my highest recommendation.

Dr. Jeff Hardesty did my hysterectomy, rectocil and cyctocil. He is an amazing doctor that gives amazing care. I had been to several doctors before, trying to figure out what to do about my pelvic floor literally falling out. I was told to wait, that I was too young (40) for a hysterectomy. My bladder was protruding into my vaginal area and I was constantly leaking and uncomfortable. Dr Hardesty said I needed surgery immediately and that he could repair my bladder by holding it up with a 'hammock'. He did just that. Also removed my Uterus, left my ovaries and repaired a bulge in my rectom. All procedures were done vaginally. I was out of the Hospital in 2 days and never once took my paid meds after I was discharged. I did have a catheder in for 3 days after I left the Hospital. Pain and discomfort were minimal. It's been 2 years since my surgery and I feel fantastic. No leaking, no buldging, nothing falling out and no visible scars. Dr. Hardesty is head of Urogynocology at Loma Linda and his EQ is as great as his obvious IQ. A wonderful man whom I would recommend to all.
