I just wanted to share, this Doctor with you, who has now become a friend. I can't compare this Doctor to the list of Doctor's that I am still seeing now. I was having alot of Female Problems, that was until I went to See Dr. Colin MacNeill. I had a surgury before I went to see him, a tumor on my ovary that ruptured. I continued to have alot of pain. He made every effort possible to fix and help me through my pain, before he ever offered the ultimate option, hysterectomy. I was 38 when I had my hysterectomy, still very young, but not a spring chicken. Before and after the Surgery, Dr. Macneill had always made me feel like I was his #1 patient, he never rushed anything and was always very concerned about the pain I was in. He made sure I could always get a hold of him personally, by giving me his beeper number so I could call him at anytime, before and after the surgery. Thankfully because of the delicate care that I received from him, I never went through the emotional aspects after having a hysterectomy. I truely believe it was because of his attention, care, and willingness to spend as much time as we needed for an appointment to ensure that everything was covered including emotional stability, which is paramount during such a delicate operation. I know I wouldn't have made it through the tough times that I had without such a Special Doctor. He actually dedicates alot of his time to research, to find out why Women have Pain and Infections, to ultimately find a reason and or a cure, to hopefully end the suffering. I know that my experience with this Doctor wasn't just a personal one, but every patient I ever talked to in the waiting room that was his, always boasted at what a great Doctor he was, so I felt confident in his abilities, always as a patient, and I am sure you will too.
