She is a GYN. Dr Oaks is a caring doctor who takes the time to talk with you, explain your options and works hard with your insurance to see that the proper care can be given. Over a period of years as her patient she treated me with fibroids. I had a D&C on her suggestion to see if it would lesson my symptoms. No luck so a TAH was performed. She suspected Andomyosis and the surgery confirmed it in addition to the fibroids. Reading on this, it is very hard to be sure until the surgery. I feel so much better now. I did have some complications unrelated to her, more the hospital and she followed up with me every day. I have been very comfortable with her as a woman doctor and her patient manner is excellent.
