My then 4-year-old daughter began having asystole (her heart stopped beating). We were referred to Dr. Boone by our pediatrician. He took the time to explain to us exactly what was going to happen and referred us to a surgeon for a pacemaker implantation. He was honest with us, even telling us he had never seen this condition in someone her age and had contacted several former Med School friends across the country to get information on this. That was 8 years ago and we have seen him yearly since. What a God send he was during her time in the hospital. Since then, a visit to his office is one of the best doctor's office experiences we have ever had. The staff is very friendly. We never have to wait more than five minutes in the room for him to come in. He is very careful to answer all our questions and check my daughter fully. His office seems to run like clock-work.
