Dr. Kotheimer was recommended to me by my family physician, Dr. Sames. Dr. Kotheimer had performed surgery on Dr. Sames' wife to remove fibroids while the doctor's wife was four months pregnant! Their daughter is now 13 years old. :-) I was apprehensive to say the least. To say the most, I was terrified! Dr. Kotheimer's friendly cheerful manner put me at ease. She has over 30 years' experience. After my surgery, one of her assisting doctors told me of her skill. She called Dr. Kotheimer "a cowboy in the operating room". Her associate said had she done the operation, she would have made a very large vertical incision to remove my uterus which was riddled with fibroids, the largest of which was 11 centimeters. Yet Dr. Kotheimer made a very small, bikini-line horizontal incision to remove it. She said it was the size of a (large) box of baby wipes. (It's normally the size of the back of one's hand.) Oh, and she checked and removed my appendix ~ no extra charge. LOL!

Dr. Cockrum is the best doctor I have ever had in my 35 yrs. She performed a hysterectomy on 11/22/06. I had major anxiety about the surgery and she helped with that. I am not even quite 3 months out of surgery and I am 100% better than before. She did a wonderful job. I would suggest her to anyone in the greater Little Rock area. The company I work for is small with about 10 girls in the office and last year alone she delivered 3 of their babies, another surgery similar to mine and my surgery. That's half the girls in the office. I know a few other people who had a hysterectomy by her last year also. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about her. Everyone I know would suggest her.

Dr. Volin is one of the few surgeons in the Denver area who offers a laparascopic supracervical hysterectomy. Simply put, there is very little scarring, a shorter recovery time and only the uterus is removed. The cervix and ovaries can remain if they are healthy. His explanation of the procedure was clear and concise. His care was excellent and his expertise was evident. I was back home the same evening and back to work only 2 weeks after this major surgery. I would highly recommend both Dr. Volin and this procedure.

Dr. Booker will sit and talk with you as long as it takes to get all of your questions answered. He is patient and really listens to you. I feel he did a great job on my hysterectomy because I didn't have that much pain and seem to be progressing very well.
Dr. Martin did an excellent job in performing my i-robotic surgery. He has a wonderful demeaner and is well experienced in his field. He consistently stays up to date on the latest technology and research. He is a very warm and friendly doctor who always answers my questions. I have no reservations recommending him.

Dr True is truely amazing! He operated on my daughter 19 yrs old. She had a size 12cm cyst on her ovary and he removed it by laposcopy. She went to the movies the same night. He also removed my uterus which was very large due to 9cm fibroid. He was able to remove it vaginally. I was very pleased with the results. If I had gone with my the other doctor before going to Dr.True, she would have cut open both me and my daughter to take out our "problems". I am so happy I found Dr. True-His staff is the best!!!

Dr. Holtzaman (OB/GYN) treated me for uterine fibroids; I had vaginal hysterectomy with ovaries preserved. I found her to be confident, direct, professional, warm and with a sense of humor. Trustworthy and reassuring to me and my husband. Timely in-hospital visit post surgery. Called promptly to check on my condition after discharge and report on pathology results. Offered alternatives and listens well to patient questions, concerns and requests. Answered all questions fully to my satisfaction. She treated me with respect and our approach to my healthcare was collaborative; she welcomed my input regarding my needs and care. Very skilled; I had very little pain or discomfort following the surgery. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Dr. Anderson is based out of Highland Ob/Gyn in Haymont. I was referred to him from my doctor. Dr Anderson listen to everything I had to say. He did not rush me at all and found my problems when other doctors wouldn't take the time to find my problem. Dr. Anderson performed a LEEP,laparoscopy (sp) and a hysterectomy on me. Dr. Anderson's concerns for my blood sugars was a suprise to me, and he explained to me why i had infection that took 3 wks to heal was due to my blood sugars. I recommend Dr. Anderson and his staff to anyone.

I just had surgery with Dr. Triana and I must say the experience with him has been a very positive one. Dr. Triana demonstrates all the qualities you may require a doctor to have. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding, takes time with you, you can ask all the questions you want, has answers to those questions that you will understand, he is just great. Dr. Hoogerland performed my hysterectomy this last year. His specialty is OB GYB ONCOLOGY and he is recognized throughout the country as the best in his field in the state of Wisconsin. Altough he has taken on the role of chief of staff for St. Marys/Columbia Hospital and can only take a limited amount of cases, I would strongly recommend him.

Skillful surgeon, with cutting-edge knowledge (no pun) about many aspects of women's health issues. Warm, sympathetic individual who treats patients with respect.
Founder of very well run all women practice. You will appreciate "one stop shopping" for lab work, mammeos, etc and a thoughtful, responsive staff.
She was my surgeon for my Hysterectomy. She is very thorough and gives choices from quick fix to complete remedy. She has a wonderful bedside manner and was there for me. She is a wonderful "female" gyn dr and I will use her as long as I am in the area of her practice.

Hi, my name is Kim and I've been a patient of Dr. Draznik's since the mid 90's. He has helped me through several different area's, for example PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome), Endometriosis, infertility, high risk pregnancy and finally a partial hysterectomy (I still have my cervix and ovaries). He is very understanding and is the only doctor in his practice which is nice so you don't have to deal with a large medical staff. He does have a nurse mid-wife; however, she do not do any deliveries. He spends ampale amouts of time with you and will even let you cry on your shoulder if need be. Now that I think about it he was a resident when my mom was having problems and then one of his first deliveries was my 22yr old cousin. I have refered several people to him in the past and never heard any complaints. He's aprox. in his mid to early 50's and not one of those creapy looking OB/GYN's that you meet and then never want to see again. He's actually quite good looking and has a wonderful ... [More..]

Dr. Surosky has been by Ob/gyn for 10 years. He delivered my second child, which was a pleasure compared to my experience w/kid #1. He did my tubal several years ago, and performed my hysterectomy 10/06. He is very light-hearted and has a good sense of humor, without blowing off your serious concerns. His office staff seems to follow his lead, and the office appears to be a cheerful place. While recovering from my surgery, one of my nurses told me she previously worked in the recovery room, and his pts do very well. She had chosen him as her own dr when she needed surgery.
My only qualm in recommending this office is that sometimes there is an extremely long wait in the waiting room, and it may become packed, including small children. I try to get around this by scheduling my appts early in the day, and have switched for regular check-ups to the nurse-practitioner, who is also very competant and friendly.

Dr. Siegel is a very caring compassionate doctor. He makes time for his patients. He did my interstim revision and gave me hope that I would start feeling better again. He is very knowldegable in interstim implants and has been doing them for over a decade. 3 days before my surgery I was feel apprehensive about going through it again but he was willing to meet with me again and talk things through. I'm so glad I found him because I would be walking around peeing over 20 times a day and be in a lot of pain.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2006. I elected to have a TRAM flap reconstruction at the same time as my right breast mastectomy. Dr. Bonnie Baldwin is my plastic surgeon. She is caring and very good at what she does. Her background includes time spent at MD Anderson (leading cancer hospital in Texas) doing reconstruction. She is not a member of insurance networks, but manages to keep your part of the cost down if your insurance DOES cover out-of- network doctors. I just finished my final step of this reconstruction with her this week and highly recommend her. It was affordable, her work is excellent and she has tons of experience with breast reconstruction after mastectomy. I visited two other doctors in my search for the right surgeon and she just stood out and you knew you could trust her, she wouldn't pull any punches and you were going to get the best possible results. I originally went to see Dr. Hannah for an ovarian mass that was found by my general doctor. He is a very kind, compassionate, and thorough doctor. During the surgery they ended up finding borderline ovarian cancer cells, so ended up doing a total hysterectomy. I was very impressed with how he handled things and he even set me up two appointments with two different oncologists so I'd have two opinions. Even though I'm being seen by an oncologist every 4 months, he is still keeping up with me and seeing me on a 6 month basis.

Dr. Conley is an OB/GYN and is very understanding of women's health concerns. He listens and is able to dig deeper into what his patient's problems may be. I have been to 4 different doctors, 2 of whom were women, and they all discounted my ongoing symptoms, for the past 10 yrs. Dr. Conley didn't put me off, and not only listened to my suggestion of what I thought was wrong, he actually followed up on what I knew my body was telling me.
I have done extensive research on my symptoms in the past 5 yrs., and am capable of making an informed decision about whether or not to get a hysterectomy. He allowed me the freedom to decide what I wanted to do with my body, made additional suggestions to make me feel even better, and it worked! I am EXTREMELY happy with him, and so are other women that I've talked with that are his patients. He's performed not only hysterectomies, but also surgeries for incontinence, and performs them in the least invasive ways
