Dr "Missy" Boyles is a very caring and concerned physician. She takes time to really listen to your concerns and explain options, side effects, complications, etc... She is not only concerned about your immediate physical issues, but also about home/family issues. She delivered my last child in 1995 and also did my TAH & BSO on 2/15/07.

i was shot in the face. the bullet went through the nose completely blew out roof of my mouth, knocked out front teeth, shredded the tongue and came out of my neck breaking the lower jaw in 2 places. it was not life threatening like my other wounds ( i had 7 !!! more bullets in me, but this one destroyed my face) I met dr Stephens about 10 months after being wounded. I already had one bone graft surgery that failed and doctor rob Lincoln completely gave up on me and would not even return my calls. Every doctor i saw pretty much told me the same thing; i'd have to live like that for the rest of my life. Except dr Stephens. He assured me he could help me, and told me we would get there many times. in fact he at times he seemed a lot more sure than i was, with the kind of devastating injury that i had and multiple doctors just spread their hands and said, sorry pal, tough luck. Dr. Bailey is with the Greenville OB/GYN group (all of the doctors there are amazing). He delivered my second daughter (c-section) and assisted with a laproscopy for adhesion removal last year. When it became apparent that I would need a hysterectomy, he was very supportive and reassuring. He performed my TAH in February, and I feel so much better now. I am optimistic that my painful symptoms will be gone for good!
I have been a patient of Dr. Jamie Nivens for the last 13 plus years and I could not be happier. I have seen Dr. Nivens for colds, flus, woman's wellness, back problems, foot problems, and other general health issues over the years. He is exceptionally kind, gentle, easy to talk to, and considerate. Dr. Nivens looks for alternative ways to treat you rather than writing a prescription and sending you on your way. He offers exercises to do to strengthen weakened areas. He really believes you when you tell him something you are feeling just isn't right. I will continue to see Dr. Nivens for many years to come.

I went to Dr. Peters for a simple answer to a simple problem. My Novasure Abalation went smoothly and recovery was easy. Dr. Peters discovered Hyperplasia Atypia with a routine biopsy. I was shocked to find out I need a hysterectomy. He was kind, gentle, easy to talk to and I trust him 100%. I am a lucky woman to have the wonderful doctors at Medical Center at Riverside so close to home.
Dr Wilson did my partial hysterectomy after a few years of heavy painful periods. I had some fibriods in my uterus. He was supportive of my suggestions, patient with my many questions and staight forward with my options even as a new patient to him. The other Dr and staff were wonderful when I needed something of them pre or post op.

Dr. Hoffman is a wonderful physician I would highly recommend to anyone seeking treatment from a Hematologist/Oncologist in the Chicago area.
He is empathic, patient, kind, soft-spoken, very knowledgeable, and teaches other residents and medical students.
Dr. Hoffman helped me several years ago when other doctors could not. He is an expert and a leader in his field. He offers hope and kind, compassionate, total care.

Dr. Patrick Pozzi is very professional and personable. I totally recommend him for women who are in need of medical treatment of fibroids, endometriosis, hysterectomy, etc.
He performed my surgery with the utmost care and professionalism. I am grateful for his expertise and care. He even called me on a Sunday night make sure that I was recovering well after my release from the hospital. I thank God for Gifting doctors such as Dr. Pozzi with patience and sincerity in their hearts. He anwered all my questions and showed real concern for my situation. I was nervous and worried at first, but thank God he was able to assist. It was very important to me as the decision was very major in my life.

I suffered tremendously from fibroids. It became so painful that my doctor had me on pain pills to get me through the month. My doctor recommended my visit to Dr. Katrina Kelly for further diagnosis. Upon my first visit with the doctor I knew that she had my best interest at heart. She had me go through a lot of testing and determined that because of the size and amount of fibroids etc. that the best alternative would be a hysterectomy. During my MRI they found a mass that was of concern. Dr. Kelly had her staff scheduled my surgery. What a terrifying experience. Your mind races....do I have cancer...do I.....do I....However, Dr. Kelly, her staff, and the hospital where I had my surgery made me feel like the most important person and gave me the same kind of care! I believe this is why I am healing so quickly. It is nice to have the quality of care and a caring doctor and staff to make this journey a postive one. I'm writing this recommendation for Dr. Vaughan to help other women who are looking for hysterectomy information and support from Hystersisters.com find a trustworthy and experienced doctor.
Dr. Vaughan has been my ob/gyn for 12 years. He delivered my youngest son, performed a laparoscopic tubal ligation and just recently, a total abdominal hysterectomy.
Dr. Vaughan presents himself very professionally. He treats his patients with respect and dignity. Dr. Vaughan is very patient and is always willing to answer questions. Appointments are never hurried.
When making recommendations for treatment, Dr. Vaughan presents his best recommendation along with alternative options.
Dr. Vaughan works out of Baylor Medical Center in Grapevine, which is an excellent facility.
Dr. Vaughan's office and nursing staff are very efficient and friendly.
I've been very pleased with Dr. Vaughan and recommend him highly.

Dr. Elkadry is a urogynecologist who specializes in treating interstitial cystitis for which I'm under her care. I know people like to use the expression that their doctors are wonderful but she redefines that expression. Most doctors don't want to deal with people who have this condition but, she makes it a point help in any way even in the most trying of circumstances. My condition had been sloughed off and misunderstood by many doctors for many years; so when I heard her say there were many, not just a couple of ways to treat this I was very relieved. Her clinical staff are a helpful to the point that you feel your taking up their time but reassured your not. I recommend her highly to anyone suffering with this illness, I wouldn't want anyone suffering as long as I have before finding her.

I highly recommend Dr. Duke! He visited me twice a day while I was in the hospital recovering from my abdominal hysterectomy. He listens and answers all of my questions and concerns. I especially appreciate his sense of humor. I always feel like he has all the time in the world for me. His office staff is professional as well.
Stephanie of 1-28 says it all...determined, compassionate, leaving the office knowing things will be better...a real "Patch Adams". Excellent in keeping my labs within range with his "fine tuning". A real role model for all residents.

When I was new to the area Dr. Keller was recommended to me by a coworker. She is the best OB/GYN I have ever been to. She takes the time to really listen to your concerns and does not just brush them off as inconsequential. I had been struggling with severe menstral cycles for several years and when I mentioned this to Dr. Keller she thought that we should find out why this was occuring--3 other doctors thought I was stressed, emotional or menopausal and went no further. Well, there was a MEDICAL basis for my problem and Dr. Keller presented me with ALL my treatment options. For many reasons, I opted for a hysterectomy after other options were not as successful as I had hoped. The surgery went well. Dr. Keller was there to answer questions and checked on me quite a few times during my hospital stay and personally called me the day after I went home to ensure things were going well, give me lab results and see if I had any questions. Dr. Usitalo is an extremely personable and approachable surgeon. His interest in getting to know me on somewhat of a personal basis prior to exam/consultation was very settling and welcome. Any question is a good one to him and his wit is appreciated - at all the right times! He performed the pubo-vaginal sling portion of my surgery on 3/6/07, while Dr. Portz performed my vaginal hysterectomy on the same date.

Dr. Coats is the most caring doctor I have ever had. She really understands what we women need in a doctor. She is cheerful, understanding, patient,trustworthy,and truely cares about her patients. When I first saw her to talk to her about my problem she was so caring and answered all my questions. While in the hospital for my surgurys( D&C, Hysterotomy) she always came and saw me before and after. Also answered all questions about what went on during the surgurys. Even now while seeing her she takes the time to really listen to me and my concerns. I am so glad that I found a wonderful doctor in Dr. Coats!!!
