Dr. Sansonetti performed my total hysterectomy more than one year ago, and delivered my first son over 10 years ago! He explains the procedures to you in a way that you can understand, and is open to options for hormone replacement. Dr. Sansonetti is very knowledgeable, and has a friendly, calming demeanor. He provides you with reading materials to assist in your decisions, and is always willing to help his patients in any way. He is one of the best doctors I have dealt with over the years.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. TALREJA IF YOU NEED A CARDIOLOGIST. HE IS EXTREMELY THOROUGH , INTELLIGENT AND CARING. EVERYONE I HAVE TALKED TO ABOUT HIM WHO KNOWS HIM AS A PHYSICIAN RAVES ABOUT HIS CARING MANNER, AND EVEN MY OTHER PHYSICIANS HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR HIM. This is a recommendation for women in Melbourne, Australia. Janet is the most caring, kind doctor. When I was advised to have a hysterectomy, she explained everything in detail, both to me and my husband. She answered any questions that we had. She is straight to the point and doesn't beat around the bush. On the day of the op, I got wheeled down to surgery and Janet got called out to an emergency ceasarean so my surgery was delayed. She told the staff to give me lots of TLC as she knew I was terrified. Then after the op, her bedside manner was the best. She knew that I was terrified of being in hospital and she just talked me down. The most caring doctor I have ever met.

Dr Northcutt did my hysterectomy in Nov of 2005. He is a very caring and gentle Doctor. I have been having female trouble for years and he was recommended by a friend of mine. He put me at ease and discussed my options with me.
The day of my surgery he led me and my family in prayer before I was taken into surgery. He is one of the most caring Doctors I have come across in a long time. He takes time for you and makes you feel as though you are his only patient.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. JEFF HAMMER. HE PERFORMED A HYSTERECTOMY ON ME 2 YRS. AGO DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAD A VERY LARGE FIBROID TUMOR (THE SIZE OF A CANTALOUPE)WHICH WAS CAUSING ME AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF PAIN. THE MOST AMAZING PART WAS THAT HE DID IT VAGINALLY WITH NO INCISION TO MY ABDOMEN! I HAD SOUGHT A SECOND OPINION FROM DR. HAMMER,DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE OB/GYN THAT HAD TREATED ME FOR MANY YEARS IGNORED MY INCREASING PAIN DURING MY PERIODS ,NOT TO MENTION THE HORRIBLE BLEEDING I EXPERIENCED. HE NEVER EVEN SUGGESTED AN ULTRASOUND!
NOW I HAVE MY OVARIES AND NO MORE HORRIBLE PAIN AND BLEEDING EACH MONTH. DR HAMMER IS MY HERO!

Let me introduce you to my doctor - Dr Kim. She is very patient with her patients and explains everything so that YOU understand. I have recommended her to anyone I hear that is looking for an OB/GYN. I went to her for my hysterectomy, she could of done my surgery but because of my medical history she sent me to a specialist at Vanderbilt Medical Center which made me respect her even more. I had incision bleeding after surgery and she should of sent me back down to the doctor at Vandy (which is an hour drive) but didn't - she took care of me without an appointment and did all of my follow up appointment except for one which I had to go to Vandy for. She is a patients doctor not a doctors doctor. You know that she is there for you.
I hope you enjoy meeting her and becoming her patient.

Dr. Affatato is a thorough, knowledgable doctor who does not jump to conclusions, and helps a patient determine diagnosis and treatment through any means possible. I appreciate that she understands the juggling act of working mothers, since she is also a working mother. I appreciate even more that she pays attention to family history when considering medical test, and your entire life when treating you. A good listener, Dr. Affatato is a rare blessing -- an excellent doctor who slows down to care, no matter how busy. I recommend her highly.

I went through 7 doctors before finding Dr. Deeney. What made him different? He listens first! Dr. Deeney is up on the latest procedures, yet is a real person. He cares, not only about a diagnosis, but cares about the whole person. Others in his practice deliver babies; I have been his GYN patient and his surgical patient and recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Lloyd Smith performed my surgury one year ago. He is the Chief in his department with UCD and no wonder ~ He is the best! Dr. Smith not only did an excellent job with my surgury, he is also a very caring person and an experienced, diligent doctor that made me feel comfortable. I also respect him. He always responds quickly to all my questions and concerns. Everyone at UCD took very good care of me during my stay. As Dr. Smith continues to monitor my progress, I feel fortuante to be in such good care with him and the rest of the staff from UCD.

I recommend Dr. St. Onge for any female needs beginning at regular check-ups to treating prolapse to treating endometriosis and everything in between. He stands out among other doctors because he expresses sincere compassion to all patients - no matter their income or how they dress or what kind of car they drive. Dr. St. Onge is the definition of what a doctor should be: competent, skilled, caring, compassionate, sincere, honest, funny (at the appropriate times) - he is a human being and treats his patients as people, not just chart numbers.

Dr. Smith will take as much time with you as you need. He is a religious man and does not over book. When you have an appt. with him there is no one elese but you on the books. I am so tired of these doctors that book three people for the same time. He di-d my hysterectomy and worked with my other doctor so I could have a tummy tuck at the same time. After three c-sections my tummy needed it ! lol He was very friendly, diligent and explaned every thing he could.
Dr. Short is not only a great ob/gyn but also a great friendly caring person. She will take the time you need with her, and will work with you with any concerns you have. I recently worked with her with menopause and thyroid concerns, she not only tested my hormone levels and thyroid, and that was without having to request it. Can't express enough how much I love this Dr.

Brenda has performed 2 emergency c-sections for me in addition to following up with a post-hysterectomy emergency where my uterine artery ruptured (she did not perform the hysterectomy and was horrified to hear of my experiences). Brenda has also performed 2 natural child births for my sister and many other friends deliveries. Brenda has two children of her own and has a really good bedside manner.

Dr. Stoune has been my physician for several years and has always given 110% while looking out for my best interest not the insurance company's. He is the most down to earth physician I have ever met. He doesn't make you feel like a patient; instead you feel like a person. There have been times when you know that the clinic has no openings but his staff always manages to work in the call in patients, which is very rare these days.

This woman cares about the health of other women. She shares information with patients to help them make better decisions.
AFter seven years of bad paps she finally tested me for HPV which I have. My previous gyne never said a word about the virus and he had cared for me for 25 years.

He explains everything to you and has a great anesthesiologist working for him. He has looked down my throat into my stomach and (other end) and I have had no problems afterward. I usually can walk out of there without feeling dizzy or sleepy on the way home after the testing. He compliments you on doing a good job if he sees good results from what he has told you to do. He has found ulcers, and a hiatel hernia, and has told me to sleep on my right side so that the food can get out of where it sometimes gets caught.
And if that works, he said leave well enough alone, he is not the type to just want to go in and operate, he will try other things first.

This doctor takes his time with you and answers any questions you may have and if he doesn't know the answer to something he will look it up or get back to you on it.
Also knows something about herbs and is willing to give you that if he thinks it will help you. Very thorough.
He is treating me for a lot of different things, like diabetes, COPD, high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression. Also gives almost painless shots for pain, very caring and comforting.

If it had not been for his insight, my son who is Learning Disabled with dyslexia would have been on ritalin for no reason. Dr. Perry was a family friend who has turned into the family pediatrician. You know how you hear a relative say my friend is a doctor, but you don't really listen. Dr. Perry heard how I was having difficulty with my son in school and the school kept pushing ritalin. I knew it was'nt add and so did our previous pediatrician. Dr. Perry recommended some testing at our local childrens hospital, where they diagnosed my son was learning disabled. He saved my son's livlihood. That was 8 years ago. My son is doing well, and without any medication.
