I found out about Dr. Gaunt through women at work. I hadn't seen a lot of these women in awhile and when I did see them, I wanted to know what they had done because they all looked so healthy and happy. Everyone I talked to said "oh you have to see Dr. Gaunt!" And they were right. He is the nicest of men, and the most understanding of doctors. He did the tests, explained the results and took the time to explain it all to me. I don't think I've ever had a doctor spend that much time on just me at an appointment. He explained everything and told me how we were going to work to get my body back to the healthiest state possible. And it doesn't end there. He monitors you and re-checks you to make sure the plan is working and to change whatever needs to be changed. I really am a BIG supporter. As I told him after my last appointment, I really feel like he gave me my dignity back. He found the reasons I didn't feel well, and not once did he ever say it was all in my head!

Dr Griffen has been my OB/GYN for several years. He has always made me feel like I was his most important patient, in fact I thought I was until other patients told me they were! Despite how wonderful I thought he was it was when I got into some real medical difficulties that I knew he must be one of the most outstanding doctors in this country! You see I am 31 yrs. old and many docs won't except that young women can also suffer from the things that typically affect older women. Dr. Griffen never gave up on helping me and my complaints of chronic pain when others would have me to be referred out to pain management. He believed in me and that my pain was real and was being caused by something. He gave me a hysterectomy and I am cured!!! Not many doctors are willing to take that step for a lady so young. After several years of being misdiagnosed and my pain not taken seriously I finally got referred to Dr. Marvel by a previous surgeon that respected his opinon. His office was a lifesaver for me. The compassion of his staff in regards to pain and pain management was refreshing! Then we moved forward to exactly what was surgically necessary. Come to find out I was full of adhesions and endometriosis as well as post-ablation syndrome. Dr. Marvel was a godsend for me and explained everything to me so that I understood what was going on with my body and what I could do to help myself until surgery was performed. I can't say enough for he and his staff! They are very personable and the Doctor has a very good bedside manner. They truly do care when you are feeling so much pain and don't know where to turn. I would highly recommend their care.

Not only is Dr. Fenmore extremely knowledgeable on every thing from birthing to weight loss to hormone therapy, he truly cares about his patients. You can feel the "good vibes" from Dr. Fenmore and his staff every time you visit his office. I have recommended him to many of my friends.

Dr. Mansuria is an awesome laparoscopic surgeon. I saw him for my pelvic pain and he explained the causes and treatments to me - both surgical and non-surgical. Very compassionate and understanding. Best ever.

Dr. Agnes Palys has been my optometrist for over 25 years dating back to the time I met her at Walter Reed Medical Center. She is devoted and caring for all her patients and is especially talented when it comes to fitting complicated toric contact lenses. She gives the same quality care and attention to the rich and poor that visit her beautiful facility at 4930 Evers Road. She takes all insurances and her son runs the San Antonio Optical Center in her very busy practice. She is a credit to all women in the optometry field! I recommend her to all my friends and associates.

I was referred to Dr. McNabb after the results of my ultrasound found several fibroiods. Dr. McNabb listened to my concers and stayed with me until I had no other questions. She performed the full hysterectomy. She vame to my hospital room exactly when she said she would. Once I returned home I had a question about my bandage and got the answering service. I expected a call the following Tues. as it was Labor day weekend. Dr. McNabb called me back within 4 minutes. I feel like the information she gave me pre and post op was extremely helpful. I feel the surgery and healing time was a piece of cake! I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr. Emma Sims...spectular! She delivered my first child 3 years ago and made it the most wonderful experience! I felt like I was her only patient and at the top of her list. She is sympathetic to your needs and worries and is the most encouraging woman in the business. I was devistated when she told me she would no longer be doing OB patients, and delighted when she (thankfully) changed her mind (since i was pregnant again). I don't know what I'd do without her. I definately would not be as comfortable with anyone else. The staff at her office are just as great. Thank you for providing such a wonderful service and making a joyful pregnancy even better.

This is a small practise, which means you get personalized service and Dr. Hechanova is always available to fit in an appointment for a sick child. I never had to wait too long, and I appreciate having a doctor who remembers my son personally and I'm not just one of many patients.
I have only seen Dr Syal several times but will say he is the greatest OB/GYN! He asks all the right questions and on my 1st time visit he took his time to learn about me. He made me feel very at ease..

I have been a patient of Dr. Arsham for 18 years. As an RN I have observed many physicians in the 45 years of my profession. No one comes close to the compassionate, professional care that I have received from him.. He is an excellent teacher who is not hesitant to make referrals when necessary. Most important , he sees his patients as human beings and not a case number.

I could not have asked for a kinder, more caring doctor than Dr. Trotter. I had been told that I had kidney stones by a local P.A. I knew better. The next day I was in so much pain, and having nausea and vomiting I went to the local E.R. Dr. Griffin the E.R doc ordered a CT scan and promised me he would get to the bottom of all of my pain. He did, he came to my bed side held my hand and told me they had found a large tumor that looked to be on or around my left ovary and uterus. So many tears fell that night. The next day although they were completely booked Dr. Trotter said he would see me anyways. I was so scared. Dr. Trotter put me at ease with his calm and caring way. I had to have a TAH to remove the tumor. Dr Trotter preformed the surgery. It went great no complications , he was even able to save my ovaries. He closed me with internal close wound sutures, no ugly staples, ladies. All I have is what looks to be a very light pencil mark across my lower ABD. He even called me at h... [More..]

I was his patient several years ago and if it were not for distance I still would be. He handled my high risk pergnancy with ease and referred me/worked with one of the best perinatologists in the state. My son is now a healthy happy 10 year old thanks to Dr Lance Holeman.

Dr Ann Langer is the most wonderful, compassionate doctor around. She's intelligent, personable and an incredible physician. Her bedside manner is impeccable. She took me on as a patient during my pregnancy and the experience was incredible. I felt as if I was being cared for by a family member instead of a doctor. I absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of Obstetric or Gynecological care. She's one in a million.

Dr, Goodwin is wonderful. I've been a patient of hers since 2003. Shes a hard worker , she cares alot about her patience. I was having very painful & sometimes heavy periods. I was just sitting in the waiting room with my husband in tears not knowing what she would do. I was crying when she came to see me the the room , and she calmed me down. She said she would be there for me. She doesn't like her periods either. So she set me up with surgery to copperize the erea , It didnt work, so then she finally said do you want a Hysterecomy I said in tears yes get rid of this pain these hellish periods PLEASE. If any is having these same problems with thier period go and have the surgery . It was set up I had the surgery the best thing i ever did. Shes the best. A Plus to the best OBGYN in sandiego. God bless her and her husband and soon to be her new baby in feb, 2008.
