Dr Beth Nelson is an excellent doctor. I have been seeing her for a number of years. Out of all of the physicians I have dealt with over my medical history she is by far the absolute best. She is very caring, compassionate and so willing to make your difficult experience as easy as she possibly can. She performed my hysterectomy a couple of years ago. I was an unusual case and she made me feel very comfortable with what was going on. Her bedside manner is so terrific. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a gynelogical oncologist in the Hartford area.

Doctor Zima truly understands women and their needs both physically and mentally. He receives a great deal of pleasure from NOT leaving unsightly scars following his surgeries. He always makes time for you and never allows you to feel as if you're wasting his time. His staff truly cares about you too.
I'm glad I had the hystersisters website to find out about what I can expect after I had my total abdominal hysterectomy. I was VERY happy to report that Dr. Zima made sure I would still have a normal sex life following surgery.
I highly recommend Dr. Zima and his staff if you are in need of a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Rashidian has deliverd all three of my kids....I have a 5 yr old daughter & 4 yr old boy/girl twins! The twins were delivered by c-section. His sonogram person, Debbie, even found out I had gallstones & needed surgery while checking out one of the twins. If it weren't for her, I would have never known (all other dr's kept telling me it was a hernia). Dr. Rashidian just recently did my hysterectomy too. I would never trust my gyn health with any other doctor. He's the best around! I would recommend him to any woman in search of an OB/GYN, for any reason! He's got a wonderful bedside manner, he's honest, makes sure you understand all risks & benefits, & he's an excellent doctor!

my doc has been the greatest. he has gone out of his way to make sure my surgery and recovery went as smooth as possible. He is comforting, very experienced, and has a positive attitude, such as, we're gonna make this better....if this don't work...we'll try until we find something that does. his office staff is fantastic, never making me feel like i'm being a "pest". i still have a ways to go but would not hesitate to recommend my doc to anyone who is in need to any type of ob-gyn services. while recovering from a lavh and an umbilical hernia repair has not been a picnic, knowing i can call my doc any time i need him has been a comfort. in fact, he encourages me to call him if i have any concerns.

Dr. Banach is such an experienced, caring Doctor. He delivered my second child via VBAC. My first child was a c-section and my second child was a regular vaginal delivery!! No problems. He told me from the very beginning that I would have my daughter, no problem. He has also done my endometrial ablation (May 2006). He has always listened to what I have to say and responded with honesty and truly cared for me and my needs. I highly recommend!!
I recommend this doctor to anyone who is looking for a good GYN. I have seen multiple GYN's through out the state and she is known for the best in the state. She was able to make me pain free after 9 years of pain. She did my surgery in March 07 and my incision looks great. I will have minimal scaring. She is awesome!

This is the best dr i ever have had! I went to her through a referal . She took her time explained everythng in detail and didnt hide anything and no suprises. I had a partial hysterectomy due to mass on right ovary.

Dr. H is really great. He shows compassion and has great follow up. He takes his patients serious and treats you with such respect. He takes the time needed wth his patients and also takes the time to explain what is going on with your medical conditions. I recommend him highly. His office staff are also very good and helpful. This office is run with effeciency and courtesy to others. Many other Dr. 's could take a lesson from Dr. H on how to treat people.

I highly recommend this physician because He has successfully treated my endometriosis for 6 years. His main strength in my case that raises him above all the others is that he is also an Endocrinologist, and has more knowledge regarding hormones etc. I understand that I will probably need a total hysterectomy in the future, however saving my favorite organ a little longer makes me happy. I also work with this Doc in Labor and Delivery at our local womens hospital, so I recommend him professionally and personaly.I am an obstetrics RNC.Good luck to all.

I am the husband of one of his patients. In a life or death situation there is no better doctor and his team of specialist. He and his group were a godsend to us.
They have real concern that can be felt and you know in your heart that they are giving it their all. A person should be so lucky as to be his patient.

Dr. Dillon is at GBMC, and is a wonderful gynecological oncologist. He was extremely patient and answered my questions gently. I am a 34y.o. who had a hysterectomy 3 weeks ago. Dr. Dillon performed the surgery, even showed up on a weekend day in jeans and a shirt to check up on me. I highly recommend him for any young woman going through gyn problems.

For many years I neglected my health due to the fact I was very mistrustful of doctors and basically just did not like them. Long story short, I ended up in Dr. Whalens office about two years ago and she has since changed my views! She was the first doctor I had ever met that really listened to me, treated me with respect, and made me feel totally at ease and comfortable. She performed my hysterectomy and did an amazing job. Before the surgery, she listenend to all my concerns and made sure they were answered and my wishes for aftercare were followed thru. She never acts rushed or hurried, even though she has a busy practice. Her staff, nurses, and nurse practitioners are warm caring people also. I was also having some issues with my primary care doctor at the time, and she referred me to someone else who she thought would suit me better. And she was right. So now I have a great primary care doctor and a great gynocologist.

Dr. Zimmerman found a golf ball sized mass in my pelvis after I saw five different doctors, had a pelvic and abdominal CT scan, and a vaginal ultrasound. I had been sick and in severe pain and for two months without any answers. He takes a lot of time to talk to you and get your history. He treated me with compassion, telling me he believed me and knew how I had suffered. He was very gentle during the examination. He will be scheduling surgery for me within the next week. I had given up on finding a reason for my pain. If you are having pelvic pain you need to see Dr. Zimmerman. If I had seen him first I could have saved myself two months of agony.

Dr. VanSlooten helped me through two very difficult pregnancies, fertility issues, and uterine complications. He has an amazing bedside manner, a wealth of knowledge, and always treats you like you are his only patient. He never makes me feel rushed and I am very impressed with the quality of care I recieved. His nurse Kathy is kind and prompt when you call with a concern. I am not a "normal" patient and there were times when decisions needed to be made at the last minute. I feel he always made the best decision for me and my babies. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Pardon takes his time with his patients and shows real concern. He does not overbook his office; I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. His staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to see him - or as much of a pleasure as going to the doctor can be!

I have known Dr. Bailey for almost two years now. She has helped me thru a long and hard pregnancy and has been there every step of the way for me. I have seen many doctors in the past but with Dr. Bailey I leave her office knowing she has given me all her attention and all of the answers to my questions. I've never felt so comfortable with anyone else before her. I would recomend any one to go to her. She is an OB/GYN Dr. and is the best that there is! If you live around Frisco or even if you don't you still need to come to her. If you visit her once you will see why I will never change doctors! I don't know what I would do without her and I'm very thankful I found her!
