I was very happy with my outcome of my surgery. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Alexander and his staff. Everything was stress and anxiety free. He was able to answer any questions or concerns that I had. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
Dr. Grace Gibbs is my gynecologist. She is a very confident woman that quickly gained my trust. She is friendly and takes her time to talk with you. We had been watching my ovarian cysts for a couple years and decided to do a hysterectomy and remove the ovaries. She uses the DiVinci robot and is extremely talented with it. My actual hysterectomy took her very little time (13 minutes)and I experienced minimal pain. I would like other women to know Dr. Gibbs is available so they too can have the choice of having a DiVinci hysterectomy by an expert. The recovery time is reduced by several weeks with this method.
Dr. Brown was highly recommended and helped to give me my life back and offered options to hysterectomy. She was very caring both during the treatment and following my surgery. Dr. Brown even drove through a huge ice storm to work my surgery in when the hospital re-opened for elective surgery. Thank you, Dr. Brown!
Very knowledgeable and professional. I like her straightforward talk and recommendations. Dr Maguire takes time to answer questions yet keeps to her schedule. Highly recommend her.
One suggestion is to supply more reading material about preparing for surgery and what to expect after. I'm sure she told me, but so much information at one time is difficult to remember. She might even supply reputable websites to go to.
Dr. Durecki not only did a wonderful job when he delivered my youngest by C-section, but he also did my hysterectomy (with ovaries). He is very easy to talk to and really cares. Definitely the best around!
Last year I thought I had just a really bad stomach ache, but I'm glad I went to Dr. Larsen. He insisted on being thourough and after a pelvic exam, some labs, and an ultrasound to mske sure I didn't have a pregnancy, he said I had appendicitis. The surgeon said if I didn't come in it would've ruptured for sure. I felt so much better and Dr. Larsen is wonderful. I recommend him to everyone. I didn't feel like another number, he really cared.

I thought dr. Shafizadeh was super smart but also warm. He is very different than the often pompous surgeons I have seen before. He is apparently very well known in NYC but you would never
Know it by his humble demeanor. Recommend him highly.
Doctor Gerut was more than a pleasure to go to. His staff was always so kind, caring, and helpful. Hands down he has the best bedside manner and is the nicest doctor I have come across. Whenever an appointment was needed Dr. Gerut is always willing to come in for you. His work done on my nose was absolutely incredible. It was exactly what I expected and wanted before going into the surgery. I am BEYOND satisfied with the results. He is a great surgeon and I recommend him 110 percent.
Dr. Bennett is a great listener, compassionate, kind and just has great bed side manner. Has always made me feel like I am his only patient, but more important has always listened to my concerns when others didn't. I completely trust him. I first met him in 2007 when he diagnosed me with Adenomyosis a form of endometriosis, I had been told by another ob/gyn that this was just part of being a woman and I should just deal with it and Dr. Bennett said no, I can help and he has.
dr pineda delivered my daughter in 2011 and he was perfect. he is very strict but only because he truly cares about the welfare of the baby no matter what race. I am now pregnant again 8/12/2013 and he told me "you know how I feel and how strict I am" I just laughed and said I remember. I had a c section which the scare is so thin you don't know its there, and im having another next year. I love him very much for loving and caring about the health of my unborn child. he said"this baby is mine up until you deliver" and that's how he treats the pregnancy
Dr. Rose Hiner (Internal Medicine) is my family doctor. She is absolutely incredible. She kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Above and beyond that: If she does not have the answer she finds someone who does or can point her to where she can find it.
Dr. Hiner treats her patients as people not numbers and not dollar signs. She is gentle and thorough. I can not recommend her highly enough. Dr. Hiner and the Mercy clinic she works for strive to carry out the Sisters of Mercy mission of compassion caring and health care. Please if you are in need of a family doctor give Dr. Hiner a chance.
Dr. Lorenzetti was absolutely wonderful when I came to her this year. I had some lab and test results from another hospital out of state but didn't have a local doctor yet. She confirmed the diagnosis of the previous doctor, but then answered any and all questions I had concerning the choices I had to make.
Then, after I had made my decision, she patiently answered all the questions I had concerning my upcoming surgery. She has always been positive and comforting, and I am thankful to have had her in my corner throughout this experience.
My doctor sent me to dr. Shafizadeh when my psa came nack higher than expected. Dr.shafizadeh was incredibly kind and calm and fully explained all of my options. he has provided excellent caring medical Care.

I came to Dr. McCarus for a second opinion. My original gynecologist had stated he would perform a hysterectomy if I wanted him to but did not believe it to be medically necessary despite the multitude of symptoms I had been experiencing for years (which were adversely affecting my quality of life) and multiple issues revealed by imaging studies. I did not want someone, though, who would simply agree to perform a hysterectomy if I wanted one; I wanted someone to give me an honest answer as to what was in my best medical interest. Based on my symptoms and imaging studies, Dr. McCarus recommended a total laparoscopic hysterectomy with removal of everything but one ovary. In February 2013 I had the surgery and woke up actually wondering where the incisions were. He had said there would be three and there were only two, and they were extremely minor. His nurse was even impressed! Dr. McCarus chose to leave in both ovaries because he said the one he had planned to remove didn't need ... [More..]
