Dr. Harmon is an excellent doctor. She has a large practice and is often very busy. But when she is with you, she is totally focused on what your problem is and what she is doing. Her clinic is also unique as it is all women caring for women. It is a very safe and understanding atmosphere. There are several doctors and midwives on staff and the thing is they all care a great deal. The one thing that could be improved is that sometimes I think Dr. Harmon spreads herself too thin and is short on time or late for appointments. But her knowledge and heart make up for that. She has now been my doctor for two surgical procedures, Laproscopic removal of ovary and TVH, and I will continue to use her as my doctor.

Dr. Giammetta has been very helpful to me and answered all the questions I have asked even when she thought I was driving myself crazy asking questions I really didnt need to worry about for one reason or another. When my options were laid before me and I gave my reasoning for turning down different ones, she didnt argue with me or tell me why she thought I was wrong or tell me that she would not do the hysterectomy simply because I am only 31yrs old. I am done having children, and I suffer heavy, painful periods and after having a D&C (which she did suggest first) there was NO change and so that left me (because I turned all others down) with one choice, hysterectomy...Dr. Giammetta did not PUSH other options on me, her bedside manner is amazing and I feel she truly does care and takes the time to best inform her patients of the diagnosis, their choices and then the information about the choice they have made. I would not feel comfortable with any other dr...I trust her immensely. She... [More..]

Dr. Grimm, is a kind, caring and very helpful doctor. He explained everthing to me and answered many questions. He is very easy to talk and makes you feel comfortable about asking anything that is on your mind. You are never made to feel that he has other patients to see, he always makes you feel that you are #1. He talks to you like an old friend. It is very comforting. He has exceptional knowledge and is very prompt on returning calls and makes sure you have the best of care!!
Surgery - hysterectomy - after trying several other options, and not successful - many years - he was patient with me.
I recommend this doctor, because he does really answer questions and is most kind. I wish other doctors were like him. He is very upbeat, friendly and really cares about his patients!! He has alot of integrity.

I've had a hysterectomy & the doctor has moved out of the area where I live, so I'm no longer his patient.
When I found Dr Zinaman, I'd given up. I didn't think the pain would ever stop, and the near constant bleeding had me too exhausted to think straight. I didn't want surgery because the previous surgeries had not helped; it had taken three surgeries to even diagnose endometriosis and the last surgeon had told me she'd cured me so my symptoms could not be from endometriosis. (I bled heavily for ten days, and my periods started every 22-23 days. Ovulation was agony and ovarian cysts burst at least once a week.)
After seeing me for about six months, Dr Z said he really needed to perform a laparoscope to see if I really was in as much pain as I claimed (or if I was just seeking attention). My best friend accompanied me to the surgery and said when Dr Z was very angry when he came out of the OR. (I was, needless to say, out of it and remember little.)

I would highly recommend Dr. Stuckey to anyone. He is one of the best PCP I have ever met! He is caring, compassionate, and kind. He even takes your BP himself, not his nurse! That let me know right off the bat when I met him that he ACTUALLY had time to know me! He is one of the greatest!

Dr. T is a very personal, caring and compassionate DR! He has helped me make the most important decision of my life! i am so glad that I made the decision to have a hysterectomy. Dr.T has/had 100% of my trust, and that says alot for a DR these days. He didn't try to get me to do all of these other procedures, that he told me was NOT going to work, he just wanted to do what was best for ME, and MY well-being! I would at the utmost athourity recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much Dr. T for giving me my life back!
I went to Dr Estella at the recommendation of my primary care dr. I had an Ob/Gyn that did not seem responsive to my complaints. Dr Estella took the time to explain everything, her thoughts about possible conditions and treatments and ordered tests that were needed to make any conclusive diagnosis and rule other things out. She was thourough, thoughtful and very responsive. (She was also right in her intial thoughts on my condition-which my former Ob/Gyn ignored and never thought to explore)
My quality of life has improved beyond my expectations and I have not needed to see a doctor in the year since my surgery! I had previously been in constant pain/discomfort.
What a pleasure to have your quality of life so impacted by a doctor who is willing to listen to you!

Dr. Sword is amazing! I had so many problems prior and following my hysterectomy. He had absolutely no problem figuring out what was going on with me medically in such a very short time. Not only is he great at his job, but is also a very caring, understanding, gentle, soft-spoken person and makes you feel totally comfortable. He is very thorough in his work and ACTUALLY listens to all of your needs/problems. If you're looking for an OUTSTANDING OB/GYN, he's no doubt, the doctor you want!
He take time with the patient is very willing to listen to you a help you decide what will be best for you. He is always learning new thing on how to treat his patient he is one of the best
Dr. Garcia at the Center for Women's Surgery in Albuquerque, NM specializes in laproscopic surgery for women. She performed a complete hysterectomy on me in July 2006. My uterus was much larger than a normal uterus, and I had no complications at all. I was out of the hospital the next day, walking in Costco 3 days after surgery, driving a week after surgery. I have very small incisions which healed nicely.
She was very thorough in her explanation of my surgery, including where each incision would be and the purpose of each one. She explained the risks involved without causing me anxiety. She is friendly, personable, professional, competent, and even has a sense of humor, which most doctors don't show. I am very pleased that she performed my surgery.

Dr. Leung is a wonderful doctor. His manner is warm and friendly. He is compassionate, and deeply cares about each of his patients. When women in our community are talking about their gyno, and his name is mentioned, I have never heard a bad word about him. He is as comforting and gentle as he can be when he is performing a yearly exam as he is during and after major surgery. he never trivalizes any concern his patients have. He performed my RSO three years ago, and then two years ago performed my hysterectomy and LSO. I whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone in the Martinsburg/Charles Town/ Hagerstown area.
Dr. Genaris is very knowledgeable and skilled, as well as having a wonderful bedside manner. He listens well and explains things well. He performed my hysterectomy and everything went very smoothly, from the first doctor visits pre-op, to my last post-op visit. Anyone who needs the services of an OB/GYN would do well to select Dr. Genaris.

He listens. He is caring. I love him. I have been to so many others who scare me. I actually look forward to visits. I call he calls back in a timely manner. He is the best. He performed my hysterectomy last year and was so gentle and caring every step of the way.
Dr. Thanos is excellent. I have known him since his first year of practice. He cares and only has my best interest at heart. I would highly recommend him.
