Dr.Shenk who is a gastroenterologist, got me through a very difficult bout of pancreatitis after having been misdiagnosed overseas which probably led to the rather virulent nature of the disease.
He is highly professional and experienced and very comforting and easy to talk with. When I was having a particularly difficult time, he took the time to phone me in the evening to check up on how I was doing.
Regrettably as of circa a year or so ago he became part of a particular HMO so one has to be a member of this group to become a patient.

I have been seeing Dr. Miers for 16 years now. He delivered my son 15 years ago. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor. When I first started having problems 6 yrs ago he was very understanding and got straight to the problem. I finally conceded to a hysterectomy this year and could not be happier with the results. He practices out of Baylor All Saints in Fort Worth. His staff is professional yet laid back and always willing to answer questions and offer a smile. Their kindness over the years has not waivered. Between Dr. Miers and the hospital staff I never had any confusion or questions not answered. Bing, bang, boom...from the time the surgery was scheduled, to the pre-admit process, surgery and stay. Never a mix up and the best care possible. Highly recommended!

I traveled from Florida to consult with Dr. Koh about my endometriosis after much research. After 10 years and several failed procedures, it was Dr. Koh's skill and expertise that gave me my life back. On 12/20/06, Dr. Koh performed a laparoscopic laser procedure to remove extensive pelvic endometriosis and adhesions which involved the bladder, bowl, and peritoneum. It has been 3 months since my surgery, and I never thought I could feel so much better! Dr. Koh is highly a skilled and exceptional surgeon, as well as a caring and gracious person. I only wish that I had found him sooner! My sincere thanks go to Dr. Koh, his staff, and everyone at Columbia St. Mary's. - Teri Ewers

I had a hysterectomy 13 years ago due to cervical cancer. Dr. Martimbeau postponed his vacation to do the surgery. The best reason to use him for me was that after the surgery I did not have to have chemo or radiation. Although I realize that if needed he would have used both treatments, he did not put me through it just to "make sure" it was all gone. (or cover himself)
I found Dr. Martimbeau and his staff to be very comptent, compassionate and professional.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Martimbeau to anyone facing gynocologial cancer. Unfortunately, I have moved and cannot go to him anymore.

Dr. Denise Sutler is a rare find. Her sincere care and concern for her patients tops any doctor I have ever seen. From the very first visit she listened, she did not make me feel like just another "number" or dollar sign. Her care has been beyond reproach. She is gentle, informative, and has your best interest at heart. I have always felt she explained things to me in plain english so I would understand without doubt. It is easy to trust someone who genuinely cares for you.

Dr. Toppi is the kindess most compastionate doctor i have ever had and i have seen doctors At Columbia University and Mayo Clinic they pale compared to her. She performed a hysterectomy on me on February 14,2007 . Dr Toppi never pushed for surgery and explained all my options. Recovery from the operation was painfree compared to before the surgery. Her staff is professional and kind a reflection of the doctor they work for and respect.
One other thing she is really funny. I would recommend her without hesitation

Dr. Halloran has a great bedside manner. She is very friendly, as is all her staff. She treats both children and adults. Her practice is very busy, but she always finds time to get you in when you are sick AND she doesn't rush you out the door. I have had her spend an entire hour with me before. She is amazing and I highly recommend her.
I have seen Dr. Morales for everything from the birth of a child to severe endometriosis and adhesions. He is a compassionate dr that cares about his patients. He is knowledgable but also knows his limitations. He did a hysterectomy last year because of endo that was too far advanced...nothing could be saved. Well the pain has come back and he has tried everything he could and when that didn't work he personally found a specialist for me and set the appoinement up. I would recommend him to anyone and when my daughters are old enough plan on taking them to him. He is a very caring, kind, compassionate, intellegent dr.

This doctor is wonderful in many ways. He spends time explaining everything not just rushing you through the visit. He is experienced with PCOS, hormone imbalances, weight issues and much more! He also is a believer that the patient has input in her visit. He is up to date on new treatment methods. He is also a believer in using the hormone pellet. Try him out!!

I have been to many, many doctors for treatment of my endometriosis but none of them really knew what they were doing. Then I found Dr. Iris Orbuch and experienced what a true specialist was like. Dr. Orbuch takes her patients very seriously. She is kind, gentle and patient. She is also a wonderful excision surgeon, again, patient and kind. She operated on me for over five hours to be sure she got all of the endometriosis out! She cared about how I was going to feel when I woke up! She returns phone calls promptly and kindly. I know my life is different because of Dr. Orbuch. I would be miserable had I not found her! Do Not hesitate, make your appointment today!

This doctor treats his patients as equals. He takes extra time in his office to answer all questions. He delivered my son 3 weeks early 10 lbs 11 ox no complications and very little stitches. He worked with me for several years with my issues. Even after my son was born he was very encouraging about possibilities. He used life changing instead of life threatning to ease my fears of a hysterectomy. 3 pays pre op visit told me... Its not a done deal. I want YOU to be sure about this. I told him I was scared. His response if you want to cancel & reschedule no problem. There is no way he could have scheduled in another patient.
My surgery developed internal bleeding he did not call a general surgeon, he let the urologist finish the bladder suspension and fixed my up himself. An additional 4 hours+ of his time. 7 weeks out I had emergency gall bladder surgery, I was in the hospital 6 days. He saw me on his rounds. What a lifesaver!!!! I don't care for most Doctors but, I super highly recommend Dr. Lee to everyone in the area. He is very good, nice, and takes his time to make sure you understand EVERYTHING, and made me feel like I was family.... Not just another paitient! Great DR/paitient relationship. Very understanding and takes his time. Glad I can be under his care.
I would like to recommend Dr. Coleman because I believe that she is very honest, caring, and very good at what she does. She's very down to earth and explains things so that you understand. My husband was very nervous and a little scared about going with me and what was going to done. Let me tell you when we went home after my appointment he really understood what were were told. She made our decision much easier to understand and cope with. There is not one person in my hometown(also where I live) or doctor at our facility that does not speak highly of her. Boy and I glad I did not have to go somewhere else. P.S. She is the one that told me to go to the HysterSisters website...........BOTTOM LINE IS THAT I AM GLAD THAT I AM A PATIENT OF HERS AND WOULD RECOMMEND OTHERS TO HER.

Dr. Craig Heins did my surgury on Feb 12. He is an OB/GYN. He is a very kind and considerate doctor. He took all the time I need to explain the surgury,answered all my questions, called me on the Saturday before my surgury to see how I was doing. He also returns phone calls prompltly. He is truly a caring person with a great bed side manner. Very professional and genuine. I would recommend him to everyone in the area.

When I got the results of my exam, I was a little shocked. I knew there was something wrong, but after 2 years of dealing with issues, I had no idea what was really going on.
Dr. Derany not only took the time to answer all of my questions, but he patienly waited while I thought of questions I needed to ask. He answered me thoroughly, and I left the office feeling very confident that I was making the right choice for me.
I never once felt like he was clock watching, or trying to press me, even though I knew he has an incredibly busy schedule.
He and his entire staff are wonderful, and have a way of making you feel like you are the only patient they have. Lighthearted humour from the moment of my first exam, all the way into the O.R. and even waiting outside the hospital for my husband to bring the car around made this a great experience for me.
I feel like that is very important in this day and age.

Dr. Green is very caring and considerate. He was very patient with me and carefully explained all the details of the procedure prior to surgery. Murray Women's Clinic has a wonderful reputation and has a great staff of doctors. Dr. Green went above and beyond in his duty as a doctor. I highly recommend him.
