I found Dr. Feder at the last minute due to passing out in public because of severe anemia that was caused by excessive bleeding because of the various uterine fibroids I had. Dr. Feder actually talked and listened to me instead of telling me what I need to do. She suggested alternatives to a hysterectomy and when I was adamant about having the fibroids removed after living with it since I was diagnosed in 1998, Dr. Feder explained exactly what will be done (I had a TAH and right fallopian tube removed), how she will procede and best of all, comforted me. She took my frantic calls pre and post-op. She is an intelligent, kind, understanding and friendly person and doctor. She was always cheerful but serious and very honest. She never sugar coated anything, yet she was tactful. She also did not make me feel self conscious about my body (I'm very overweight) like some doctors make overweight women feel. I just love Dr. Lamade (lah-mah-dee). He's one of the most personable, compassionate doctors in his field and I don't know where I'd be without him. He saw me four years ago when I had no health insurance and has allowed me to make payments on those charges in increments I can handle (we're talking anywhere from $10 to $40 at a time and I'm still paying!).
Once I got health insurance, I continued to visit his practice. First, it was discovered that I had uterine fibroids. Big, problematic ones. Dr. Lamade recommended hysterectomy but I was in a relationship with the man I later married and he wanted children. He offered me two alternatives: myomectomy and embolization. I went with the embolization, using the radiology doctor that Dr. L recommended. It went without a hitch. Maybe it worked TOO well! I was pregnant three weeks later!

on july 14 2008 i had surgery by dr evans he took very
good care of me he dr. evenshas the most patience and time for
every one even family i will tell you hes the best .
i would travel from mt airy nc to winston salem any time
to take care of me and be my dr.hes #1.

Dr. Martin has been my OB/GYN for 7 years. Dr. Martin is not only a great doctor, but a great person. He will not hesitate to discuss issues and options with you. I find him to be honest and trustworthy.
Dr. Martin has seen me thru several procedures and surgery. He took the time to get to know me as a person, not just a "patient".
He has a very busy practice, but I've never felt that I have needed to wait for an unreasonable amount of time to see him. His office is also very good about letting you know if he is called away for a delivery.
I can not say enough good things about him!
I would suggest Dr. Konowitz to any one with throat problems. I was sick for five months with my throat, I went to see my primary care Doctor and he could not figure out what was wrong with me. Then he sent me to an ear, nose,and throat Doctor. He could not find the problem it was very upsetting to feel sick all the time and no one could figure out what was going on with me. Finally I went back to my Doctor and told him how my throat always felt tight when I would swallow and the pain I would get in my neck and ears so again I went to see an ear nose and throat Doctor who ended up being Dr. Konowitz and he found the problem he told me it was my tonsils and i should have them removed so I did one month later and I am feeling so much better thanks to Dr. Konowitz... If it had not been for his experience as a Doctor I would still be sick today. I would also like to add that Dr. Konowitz is a very caring Doctor he really understands how his patient feels and what they are going through.... [More..]

An excellent and dedicated gyn/oncology physician - came highly recommended by my primary care physician and my regular gyn and I agree. She prepared us well for what to expect, providing good information. Dr. Walker handled my hysterectomy and after care very professionally and compassionately. A true gift to women who are facing any gyn cancer issues.

Dr. Meyer is the right doctor for me, He has a sense of humor, that I needed when I was going through my problem. My previous obgyn made me feel like just a number and a bother because of all my questions.
Dr. Meyer is fun but when I needed the serious side, He's was able to be serious,informative & bring a smile to my face. He has very good nurses that can help too!
Dr. Meyer did an excellent Job with my novasure, I had talked to several ladies who had the procedure done by other obgyns & their recovery wasn't as smooth as my recovery was.
At a different time I was having some pelvic pain issues & went to Dr. meyer for a second opinion, I needed a doctor I could trust & be straight forward, I was trying to make what was a hard decision for me. When I seen him, he could tell how stressed I was, He was encouraging, answered my questions & He made a tough time easier.
Good doctors are hard to find, I tell him he's my favorite doctor because he is.
My Mom had Dr. Fell as her surgeon during her month long stay at St. Francis hospital. He was absolutley wonderful! He answered all our questions, had an excellent bedside manner, and made her feel as comfortable as one could feel in a hospital. He performed two surgerys on her in a two week period, which both turned out beautifully. I would recomend Dr. Fell to any person who appreciates professionalism and great bedside manner. When it comes to being diligent, trustworthy, and comforting, he is all of the above.

He is excellent in diagnosing conditions using electromyography (EMG's) and Nerve conduction studies. Also very skilled at pediatric PM&R. Personable, smart, listens well. All my friends who have used him also think the same. He spends a lot of time with each patient.

Dr LeVine is wonderful, I've recommended him to alot of my friends and they love him too. He actually has a "humane" colonoscopy prep that allows his patient to eat a small breakfast and lunch the day prior to the procedure and it doesn't taste bad at all!!!
Wonderful bedside manner, I love this man!!! I wish more Dr's were just like him. He really cares about his patients and accomodates their concerns and requests.

Several years ago I fell and badly broke my wrist. Dr. Liudahl was new to S.City and I was lucky enough to get him in the emergency room. He used a new appliance (new to S.City) in setting my wrist. Now, several years later, my wrist doesn't show any signs of a break, is pain free. I am so grateful that this young man (at that time he was young) treated me. Besides being a competent doctor, he's caring. I always wished he was a general practioneer so I could go to him for all my doctoring needs.
He is knowledgeable and caring. I felt more confidence in this doctor than any other doctor in the practice. He's the go-to guy for heart-related care!!

This doctor took me at the end of the day as a favor to another doctor. I wasn't Dr. Murray's patient. She was very patient with me each office visit after that. I would recommend her to any one. The office is nice and clean and there is no unusual wait time.

Dr. Stauffer is a fantastic doctor who helped ease my worries during a period of health issues. He was always very nice, gental, and took the time to explain everything for me to make sure I was fully informed. He performed my Coposcopy and LEEP, but of which went very smoothly.
dr.capone is very experienced with what he does he answers all questions thouroughly and honestly he never rushes you out of the room and he makes sure you understand what he is explaining to you! he takes his patients very seriously and is very friendly and funny at the same time i respect him fot what he does and who he is a great friend and doctor!. dont hesitate to give his office a call!.

He is one of the best Doctors I have ever had! His bedside manner is wonderful. He is caring and concerned. I have had several scares the past few years in other areas of my health, and with one phone call to him he calms me down and speaks to be reassuringly. Even in the hospital for other issues he called me immediately and with his calm demeanor helped me and then 3 days later he was performing major surgery on me. That went very well. His compassion is his passion. He truly is a remarkable doctor.
I also had the wonderful opportunity to be in the delivery room when he delivered my "nephew".
I cannot think of enough good things to say about him. He is one-of-a-kind.

Before starting with Dr. Vidali I was discouraged by a lot of doctors due to my age. I felt they didn't want to spend time on someone who didn't have a high possibility of success. Dr. Vidali on the contrary was very positive. He was very thorough and patient in answering all my questions, and explaining all whys, what ifs and probabilities. His expertise and knowledge gave me great confidence. Since this process can be long and emotionally taxing, one has to try without giving up with the help of an expert with a positive attitude. Dr. Vidali is that person who is with the patient all along. He is very professional but at the same time very accessible and friendly which puts the patient at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Vidali.

Dr MCCann is very approachable, listens carefully and is conservative in his recommendations for meds and treatments. He is honest and direct so there is no confusion regarding the plan of care. He IS NOT judgmental or narcissistic and puts you at ease with his demeanor. While his office is very busy, if you need to see him right away, you are generally asked to come in and wait for an ASAP spot.
