Dr. Phibbs is a compassionate and caring doctor who is dedicated to women's health and reproductive issues. I was referred to Dr. Phibbs when an ultrasound showed football sized tumor where my right ovary should have been. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy (uterus, cervix, ovaries and tubes) in October of this year. Dr. Phibbs was able to remove the tumor (which weighed ten pounds) without any harm to any other organs. I felt completely at ease with Dr. Phibbs and felt confident in his skills as a surgeon.

Excellent, thorough OB/GYN...there is none better. Dr. Harper has such a wonderful, calming physician and explains things thoroughly and in language that is understandable. He takes no chances and refers you on if there is any quesionable test results. He's good about keeping on top of what is needed for the age of the patient (colonoscopy, mammograms, and so forth). He's been my doctor for 15 years; I have three children and starting to have some issues. I trust him most of all of my doctors!
I recently moved to the area, and I chose to visit Dr. Dorchak for my yearly exam. He was friendly and thorough, and he discovered the reasons for problems that I had been suffering with for years! I had seen many doctors in the past (who all told me there was nothing wrong and to deal with the pain), but he was the first to take notice of my questions AND my answers. He nailed the problems down (and there were quite a few), and he isn't afraid to take action. He is careful to include you in the process, answer any and all questions, and he's just an all-around great doctor. Even his staff is wonderful. One of his nurses even gave me her personal number so I could contact her over the weekened and not have to deal with the answering service. How often do you actually get service like that these days? He's a top-notch surgeon, and I would recommend him to anyone that wants the job done properly the first time. I grew up on the east coast with excellent medical doctors and facilities. Many years ago when I left the east coast and moved to New Mexico my only real concern was the availability of good medical care.
In 2010, I knew it was time to have the hysterectomy I had been putting off for years. I was slightly worried about finding a good surgeon in New Mexico and more specifically in Santa Fe where I live. I was given a recommendation to see Dr. Vigil. I met with Dr. Debbie Vigil for the first time in July of 2010. She spent nearly an hour with me, had impeccable medical knowledge, probably the most sincere bedside manner of any doctor I had ever met and a high level of emotional intelligence. Selected Dr. Vigil as my surgeon was an obvious choice.

This doctor made me an robotic hiyterectomy. When I was diagnosted with HVP, NIC 3; I was desperate, looking for the right professional that I could see inmediately to solve this problem as soon as posible to avoid the progress. I called this doctor which is far away from me and she gave me the appointment for the next day, so I was relieved. I went to her office the next day, and she scheduled the appointment for surgery the next day. Everything came out successful and I was happy with her and her staff. When a situation like this comes up, you need a good but a nice doctor. I am happy on my 5 th day pos- op. Thanks God.
Dr. Mary Misischia, D. O. is currently in Oak Ridge TN with Thompson Cancer Survival Center. I was referred to her several years ago when my Oncologist left his practice in Oak Ridge. This doctor was able to pinpoint some cause and effects from cancer treatments I received in 1970 for Hodgkins Disease. UNtil 10 years ago I ran 7 miles a day, then in the mid 2000s I lost my energy, was depressed, had GERD, could not climb a flight of stairs etc. None of the many doctors could help me. "Dr Mary" smiled upon hearing my complaints and sent me to have my lungs and heart checked....she already knew why I was sickly! I had asthma from XRay treatments and chemo therapy. I was down to 70% lung function and had significantly scarred blood vessels. I am at 98% lung function and on Crestor to prevent further vessel damage. I am happy. FABULOUS! I have had a number of gyn's over the years and Dr. Little is hands down THE BEST. As a new patient, he spent time with me in his office to address any concerns I might have and answer any questions. He was familiar with the alternative practices I was trying and could suggest other natural ways of dealing with some of my concerns rather that just skipping to prescriptions. As for the exam, he is the gentlest, quickest Dr. I've ever had. I almost felt like saying "you're done? Don't you have to go back in for something else?" I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I know.

Dr. Intili recently performed a total vaginal hysterectomy for me with removal of one of my ovaries. Throughout this whole treatment process for endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and ovarian cysts, Dr. Intili has taken the time to explain things to me and always makes sure that I understand my options. While I was in the hospital recovering from surgery, she visited me every day, even stopping by the night of the surgery before leaving the hospital to make sure that I was feeling ok. I strongly recommend Dr. Intili because she is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, and always listens to her patients’ needs and concerns. She has great bedside manner and is very good at putting me at ease when I’m worried about things involving my condition. Having the hysterectomy was one of the best things I’ve ever done for my health but I would have not trusted anyone else to perform the surgery besides Dr. Intili.

After being in remission/menopause for 3 yrs, I suddenly started having periods again. I also experienced constant severe abdominal pain. After a number of tests, I was told I had pelvic congestion syndrome. I saw a couple of GYNs who told me that they didn't believe in that syndrome and that there was nothing they could do for me. That's when I found Dr. Hibner. He specializes in issues concerning pelvic pain. He really listened when I explained what concerns I had. He is treating me now. I'm so thankful that I found him!
