This doctor performed a uterine hysterectomy on me that also required reconstructive surgery on the bowel and bladder walls. I was walking around town within the week. She is very good at what she does. She has a great disposition. I highly recommend her.
She is a very caring person who listens carefully to all questions. If she does not have an answer, she is readily available to recommend a specialist. She is however, cautious and does not rush into anything quickly.

Dr. Maly is an excellent doctor professional, and he is very kind, understanding, and trustworthy. Dr. Maly has been my doctor since 1988. He delivered my children and also I just recently had a hysterectomy. I recommend him to all my family and friends.

This is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He knows each of my family members by name and asks how each of them are when I go to see him. I never have to question that he has our best interest in mind with whatever treatment he recommends. His compassion and concern for his patients is a testament to what medical care should be all about.
This doctor is incredibly thorough and his attention to every detail I have found impressive. Although he only sees me once a year, he remembers personal details about things I mentioned at the last visit. This lets me know that I am a person to him.
After my favorite doctor had to quit practicing due to illness...I chose her partner...and it was on my first visit with him...that it was discovered I would need a hysterectomy...he had so much compassion and understanding...and that was in all areas of my treatment and healing!!
Even his nurses like him...A LOT!!!!

This Doctor is caring. I am in my 60's and needed a hysterectomy. I have not had major surgery before and he was very patient with me, calmed by fears, gave me a hug on one occasion and thoroughly explained the procedure. If I had a problem his office was quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable in his field and I really like him as a physician.

I have worked with Dr. Peppy for the last three years and recently became his patient. I had been told in the past that a hysterectomy was my only ption, but he was able to tell me otherwise. I recently underwent a hysteroscopy and biopsy with him and could not have asked for a more caring doc. While he remains very professional, He has a great bedside manner and becomes a friend as well as a physician. I've seen what a great job he does in the OR and how well his patients do postop. I have never met anyone who has transferred away from him to another physician. He also ahs two really great partners, Drs. Pena and Londono.

When Dr. Francomano suggested that I have a hysterectomy, he thoroughly explained all my options. He explained how my situation would progress if I wanted to wait, what types of hysterectomy were available, etc. He gave me his recommendations without any pressure and the decision was left up to me. He is very kind and honest and makes a patient feel at ease. I trusted him completely and went with his recommendation.
The reason I reccommend Dr. Larry Thompson, is because he did my total abdominal hysterectomy and his skill as a surgeon is amazing. I recovered in sooner than expected time and his incisision not only is almost non-detectable, but it also eliminated the old c-section scar I had there. The visiting nurse asked me "WHO did your surgery?" because she was so surprised to see an incision that looked so good. Another very important thing is that I had absolutely NO bleeding at all after leaving the hospital 4 days later. Amazing. By the way, Dr. Thompson is not only skilled, he is mild in manner and very pleasant and friendly to talk to.
We all know what it is like to go through the whole"there is nothing wrong with you" scenario. Well after seeing about a half dozen different doctors, I finally got the to the end of the there is nothing wrong road. Dr. Rees finally listened to what I was saying and ordered the right tests and determined that I did in fact need to have a hysterectomy. He was both professional and friendly when he delivered my results. I just think that he is totally awesome.

Dr. Angelides has dropped her practice in Obstetrics but does specialize in Gynecology and Menopausal medicine. On both a personal and professional note, Dr. Angelides is a very special doctor. She is not only companionate, but an excellent surgeon and physician. She held my hand when she told me that I needed a total hysterectomy and explained the procedure to my husband in detail and was always available before and after my surgery with questions that I had regarding my particular surgery and what to expect afterwards. She discussed my options after surgery, never tried to influence me either way about taking HRT's and she helped me through a very difficult time in my life both physically and emotionally and I highly recommend her to anyone in South Florida. She is a rare find and takes a special interest in every patient she has. I do not have insurance because I lost my job due to my Fibromyalgia and other medical conditons and I still use her because I feel very comfortable... [More..]

She is caring and wonderful. She takes her time with you and listens to what you have to say. She cares for her patients. When I had to have my hysterectomy she took the time to talk to me and explain to me in detial what my options where, what the outcome might be and side effects and the changes my body would go through.
Referred to "Dr. Pete" as the 'best in town' for my hysterectomy. He was very thorough in his consultation, not hurried and explained everything like he was teaching a detailed course in reproduction. He was friendly, courteous, and had a great smile that put you at ease and allowed for all kinds of questions.
He listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, ran the gamut of hormone test for a baseline in preparations of potentially removing both ovaries if needed (or requested). Referred to his primary surgical nurse Joanne as 'The Boss.' She turns out to be extremely competent and caring too.
Pre-surgical visit was again very thorough and covered any additional questions and concerns - but not in a rush. Joanne covered the details of where to go and when and the step-by-step prep. I would highly recommend Dr. Halvorsen to anyone. He is simply wonderful! He is a very knowledgable MD and up to date on the latest procedures. When I was told I needed a hysterectomy in May, 06, I was really scared. He explained everything that was to happen and what to expect afterwards. And it went exactly as he said it would. He will immediately put you at ease when you enter his office. He is friendly, comforting, trustworthy, good sense of humor, great bedside manner and a great listener. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and never makes you feel rushed. He makes sure that you totally understand everything before you leave your appointment. He is a very competent surgeon and did a great job with me. I trust him immensely!
Dr. Sangal is professional, friendly, listens, and actually cares about her patients. She explains everything and answers any questions you may have, her office help is exceptional also (nice and professional). I originally went to her a few years ago for abnormal PAP and she performed my LEEP. I went back to her for a second opinion regarding my problem, she had tests performed and found out that I needed surgery to remove fibroids. We discussed all the options (pros and cons) and she performed my hysterectomy.
