Dr. Krivak is a gynecological oncologist. I chose to see him when I found out I was positive for the family BRCA1 gene mutation because I wanted my uterus removed dut to my family history (prophylactic surgery). Dr. Krivak had done my grandmother's hysterectomy after her uterine cancer diagnosis just 3 years ago and she continues to see him for her oncology regimen. She is difficult to please, yet continues to gush about him. (With Dr. Krivak, you are getting 2 birds with one stone -- surgeon and oncologist)
He is WONDERFUL!! His bedside manner is incredible (comforting, cheerful, friendly) and he does a lot of research -- 2 very important things to me. He is experienced and diligent. He even called me twice to make certain I received my pathology results -- once he left a message and again the following day to ascertain that I did get the results/make sure he was available for any questions.

As a nurse, I did a lot of research before I selected a doctor to perform my surgery for breast cancer. Dr. Ricardo is an extremely skilled surgeon and is well respected in her field. She comes highly recommended by other health care professionals. As a patient, I found Dr. Ricardo to be amazingly compassionate and caring. When I saw her in the office, I never felt rushed. I could have been the only patient she had to see, judging by the care and time she took. I understood every step of my care. I would and have recommended her to my friends and colleagues. You cannot be in better hands that Dr. Arlene Ricardo!!!

I felt Dr. Fisher took the time to answer my numerous question personally. He went above and beyond in his care for my well being and concerns. He had a compassionate and sensitive "bedside" manner. Due to my health issues, i found myself in a very emotional and difficult position. He was friendly, reassuring, gave me valuable options and listened to me. He allowed me to make the decision on what to do with my health care with gentle guidance, but no pressure or demands. He was also willing to spend as much time as I needed going over my options and indecision.
I would suggest him to anyone who is anticipating surgery for gynecological reasons.
I have been to other retinal specialists however I have found that Dr Thomas and his staff were much more patient and answered all my questions. Dr Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and he saved my vision.

He is knowledgable, personable and by far the best Dr. I have ever dealt with. He is sensitive and completely reasonable. I wish all Dr. were like him.
Dr. Widra is an excellent psychiatrist. He's cheerful, friendly, experienced, and I feel like I can talk to him about anything. He takes the time necessary to assess the presenting problem, answer questions, and address concerns. He draws treatment from a large knowledge base of conditions and psychiatric medications. He created a medication routine that fit around my busy life instead of expecting me to fit my life around the medication. He's quick to find solutions to the numerous side effects that psychiatric medication may have. At times when I have an urgent problem, he finds a way to fit me into his busy schedule as soon as possible. I have been diagnosed with bi polar disorder for nine years. Up until working with Dr. Widra, I have been unsuccessful working with other doctors and my bipolar disorder has been out of control. Dr. Widra helped me get it under control. I've been using Dr. Tilghman since 1995. He has delivered both of my children and also recently done a TAH/BSO for me. He's always been very helpful whether it was during an office appt. or during my stays in the hospitals. When you ask him what he thinks he's very quick to give you his honest opinion. He doesn't make you feel like just because he's the one with MD after his name you have to do what he says/when he says. I have always felt like we were a team working together to get the best results.

I've been Dr. Nemunaitis-Keller's patient since 2004. She is very patient, through and actually listens to you. She always recommends any tests necessary, explains all the why's & wherefore's and calls you herself with the tests results. She is very friendly, upbeat and young enough to relate to our modern society.

She is a very thourough doctor and is highly skilled. She is a Gyn/ Onc and has been working ath the University of Michigan for many years. Her training is outstanding. SHe has a great attitude and had a very good personality. She has a great way of reading the mood of the patient and going with it in her dialogue. The staff at the university is outstanding as well. I saw her for invasive cervical cancer and I continue to see her for my follow up care. She has made both myself and my husband comfortable with my treatment.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Reynolds for several years and highly recommend her! She listens, takes time to answer questions and discuss the pros and cons of various treatment approaches. I tend to barrage my doctors with tons of questions, which she has welcomed and answered readily…at times referencing recent research which just increases my confidence level with her. She has been very compassionate and understanding as I’ve contended with hard issues and decisions throughout the years (pregnancy loss, chronic pelvic pain, fibroids, etc.). Her willingness to involve and consult or partner with other doctors when it has been my best interest has also been greatly appreciated. Not only do I trust her knowledge and expertise, I feel she also has a wonderful “bedside manner”. I am so fortunate to have found such a wonderful and caring doctor. Dr Pitcher has been my obgyn for over 7 years and has delivered all 3 of my little ones with great care. I just can't say enough wonderful things about her but I can say if you are searching, I recommend Dr Pitcher to you. She cares so much for her patients and was so comforting during the pain of my miscarriage. She does all in her power to make sure you are comfortable and very well taken care of. Each time I go in I find such great comfort just to see her and her wonderful staff. I couldn't see myself ever going anywhere else.

I had him for a doctor while i was at Hamot. He took really good care of me and he was very thorough. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a Pulmonologist. The reason i had him was i needed to increase my lung power in order to have open heart surgery. He put me on a C-Pap machine in order to accomplish this. He asked me if i felt it helped me in taking a deep breath. I told him "no", but that's because i don't feel like i have trouble deep breathing. But it helped as i now can get up to 750 on the incentive spirometer, while i could only get up to 500 before. So what he did helped me breathe better. In the end, i am not having the heart surgery since my cardiac surgeon decided not to do the heart surgery since i would not stay on the ventilator after surgery for a long time, even though i agreed to the 2 months he asked me to. But i still feel it was worthwhile to be on the C-Pap machine as it helped me, and i thank Dr. Rowane for this.
Dr. Aloupis came very highly recommended to me by a friend and my step-mother.
The day of surgery I was told again by the nursing staff that I "had the best".
I agree completely. I was seen quickly upon my family physcian's referral and surgery scheduled for two weeks later. He did a TAH/BSO with appendectomy for me. I had an ovarian cyst the size of "cantaloupe" along with endo and another cyst on the other ovary. I have had absolutely no complications following surgery. I feel great.

I have twice been a patient of Dr. Kells--in 2002 when I had my first child and now that I am pregnant with my second.
When my husband and I decided to have another baby, I told him that I wouldn't do it unless Dr. Kells was still in practice! Dr. Kells explains everything in the best way possible and truly listens to his patient's requests. He makes a point to get to know his patients further than the information listed on their medical charts. I have never felt confused or scared while in his care because he is not only capable, but always available. I can call his office with questions anytime and his staff is fantastic. When I was in labor with my first, he was at the hospital almost the entire time and checked on me (actually talked to me...not just peeked in!) frequently. I had a wonderful delivery and recovery and I'm looking forward to a repeat the second time around.

Back before plastic surgery was the 'big thing' (about 1986) I had my zygomatic arch broken by a former friend. I assume this field was fairly new and I dont recall him being well established and I dont recall how we found Dr. Anderson but I am very glad I did! He was very professional, courteous, and explained everything with what happened and what he was going to do. He was very detailed (I understood all - at the time I was a student majoring in aerospace engineering and I told him I would get it all.)
He was a great Dr and I would highly recommend him.

Before I found Dr. Silberman I had no idea who would do the cosmetic procedures I wanted, which so far have been for facial anti-aging. I've had under-chin liposuction, a small facelift and three filler injections. I feel as though I've gone back in time! Aside from his great skills with cosmetic procedures he is so accommodating, conscientious and great with detail. I can also tell that patient safety is of utmost importance to him. He's very versatile in terms of anesthesia options, in fact moreso than any other doctor I've ever heard about. His ability to do many surgeries under straight local anesthesia, with no IV sedation is very unusual and is another reflection of his exceptional skill. I'm an extremely "phobic" and apprehensive patient but this doctor and his wonderful staff always allay my fears and in fact I actually have always had a pleasant time during my procedures.
