When I met Dr. Nielsen for the first time, I immediately felt a sense of dedication in what he believes in, especially when it comes to less invasive surgery, which is what he specializes in.
I am originally from the East coast area, so when it was explained to me that I needed major surgery, I felt very alone in this Midwest state not knowing where to start looking for the right surgeon. I started networking with co-workers and friends and searched the internet for doctors specializing in new innovative procedures relating to my medical condition.
Dr. Nielsen was the specialist I chose for a 2nd opinion. In my case Dr. Nielsen gave me other less invasive options and felt very strongly about saving my ovaries, so that I wouldn’t go into premature menopause. I scheduled an appt w/Dr. Davis after reading this site as well as other info. It was a pleasant surprise that is as good as, or better than the other comments. It was a huge realization that at 36, I was going to actually need a hysterectomy but after my office visit with him, he made me feel that 1) it was the best decision for me, 2) answered every question/concern that I had and 3) he was willing to spend as much time as I needed to discuss options and the actual details of the different procedures I would need. I never felt rushed to make a decision and he was very concerned and attentive during my hospital stay. The bonus that everyone on his staff was very nice and helpful. He was the perfect choice for me.

I was having severe flank pain and was referred to Dr. Shessel. He diagnosed me with Kidney stones. After he told me what was wrong he personally walked me from his office to the emergency room and admitted me. I was immediately taken care and passed the stone after a couple of hours. I have since been back with additional kidney stones and have always receieved excellent care. He is a great doctor and truly cares for his patients.

Dr. Christine delivered both my children as well as my sister's and did a fantastic job. She is professional, yet genuinely caring and puts you at ease during each visit whether it is an OB visit or your yearly. Takes time to listen and answer all questions openly. My sister, my mother and my mother-in-law all see Dr. Christine now and feel the same way I do. I recommend this doctor highly.

He is a really amazing Dr who cares for his patients. I started seeing him when my Dr. that I had for 15 yrs moved to Florida. He has been very patient and listened to all my questions and concerns. He is very patient friendly. When I started having pain he did not jump to suggest a hysterectomy, (though I did) he said there are other things we can try first, so we did and when they did not work he left the decision up to me. He is truly an amazing DR.
Dr. Rotmensch's speciality is gynecologic oncology. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo oophorectomy and lymph node sampling in Jan. 2008. He is very kind and gentle, his physician assistants are wonderful. He takes the time to explain everything to you.
He performs surgeries at the hospital where I work, so I was very pleased when my gynecologist referred me to him for my surgery, as I already knew about him. I highly recommend him and have only heard good things about him from the surgical staff here at the hospital also.

Dr. Langer is now located in Joplin, MO. She recently performed a hysterectomy on me and I have recovered nicely. Dr. Langer is very nice and takes the time to listen and answer questions. She explained the surgery and made me feel at ease. Her nurses are very nice as well.
Dr. Bender is a very kind person, who takes his time to explain your diagnosis and has a great bed side manner.
I would highly recommend him based on the good result of my hysterectomy. I immediately felt better days after surgery. His staff is very kind as well.

Dr. Bryson is a very unique doctor - he cares! He never makes me feel rushed and answers all the questions that I have. He has actually called me at home on his day off to check on me (he had to meet me at the hospital on a weekend night for an emergency I was experiecing during pregnancy). He is a Christian and he will pray with you before he does surgery - that to me means a lot. Not only do I have a wonderful doctor but I have one with "The Great Physician" on his side. How much better can you get?

Dr. Diesfeld is a phenomenal OB/GYN physician and surgeon. He has a wonderful personality, which puts you at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and well skilled in the specialties of obstetrics, gynecology, and urogynecology. He is one of the few physicians I’ve personally met that I can honestly say makes me feel confident that he can handle anything related to women’s care. I like that Dr. Diesfeld presents you with options for treatment, not just rushing in to perform unnecessary surgery. He is always open and willing to discuss treatment options, answer any questions, and let the patient take an active role in deciding the course to take. I like that he tries to treat the patient in the least invasive way as possible. Dr. Diesfeld provides an exceptional level of care. He is a wonderful doctor with a well deserved stellar reputation and I feel privileged to be one of his patients.

I went to see Dr. Perrin apprx Jan 2007 after having miscarried in the fall the year prior. I had had a horrible experience with another doctor and was determined to find a good doctor. I did. I had had trouble getting pregnant for 3 years. We immediately went over my history and lined up for many tests. Finally, it turned out that i needed my tubes flushed out as they were blocked. Got the "pipes cleaned out" :). He helped my husband and I get pregnant and took care of me all the way to delivery. During the entire time I was in delivery (surgery) and post delivery, he was by my side and I have NEVER had a doctor do that. I can not thank him enough for everything. He is kind, compasionate, great bedside manner and takes his time with his patients. We have a beautiful baby girl and we owe it all to Dr.Perrin. I pray that the lord continues to bless him and his kind heart.

Hi All,
Anita Somani is a wonderful doctor. I should thank god to give me such a wonderful doctor. I am a patient of her. When I was pregnant she is the one who is on myside with all positive attitude. We can talk to her everything that you feel about your pregnancy she will explain and thats what is needed for a patient. That makes me feel so comfortable. Even for oncall responses her answers are wonderful you can relax and be calm after you talk to her.
I should Thank my friends and colleagues who suggested me to go to her.
I know many of my colleagues go to her and all of them are so happy.

Dr. Kennedy is an Excellent Doctor. He displays a Calm, Gentle Manner, which I Very Much Appreciate. He is Pleasant, Easygoing & listens Intently to your concerns. I Know & Have Utilized Many Doctors, But He Is "THE VERY BEST IN THE AREA OF OB/GYN". He also takes the time to explain all procedures in depth. I can recommend this Dr. in many ways. He is kind and heartwarming. He greets you with a smile and a hand shake everytime. He lets you knows he cares and listens to you and doesn't act like he has to get up and run out of the room. He is not too proud to tell you he needs a second opion or another someone's advice. He has helped my family with many things from colds, allergies, headaches, personal issues, and referrals to speciality doctors and we could not ask for a finer Dr. to be in Elizabethton, TN. They always try to fit you in if you need to be seen and you don't feel like you are bothering them. I just wish there were more like him.
David Hardin is an excellent orhtopedic surgeon. He performed arm surgery on me and put a steel rod in my arm. It has been almost 14 years and I have not had any problems. His bedside manner is something to be said for, but I would not trade his doctrine ability for sweet talk. I have also gotten to know him personally now and still recommend him as being very knowledgeable and talented at what he does.

I totally recommend Dr. Tempest Allen. she is WONDERFULL. She saved my life not only once but twice. With out this woman, I wouldnt be here. She takes the time to listen to you and find out what is wrong.
She was the only doctor that would listen and believed me that I was in pain. She didnt stop until she found the source of my pain. I love her so much.
If your in the area, and have female problems go see her, I guarantee you wont regret it.
