Very thorough and friendly. She took time to listen to my concerns without acting rushed. Great bed side manner after I was recovering from a vaginally hysterectomy.
I went to Dr. Bayer and she is compassionate, informative and very knowledgeable in hormone therapy and dealing with the aftermath of a hysterectomy. I was presently surprised as her bed side manner, care and concern was immediately visible.
I have seen at least 20-25 Gynecologists in my lifetime and she is only the 2nd doctor that I have come across that really cares about what she does and how she does it. My other doctor retired.
I highly recommend Dr. Bayer for anyone who is looking for a Gynecologist - she and her office staff are comforting, warm and friendly

Now a struggle with severe IBS when I PMS. we tried the depo shot, helped but just isn't enough. She told me "I'm here for you if you need me." I really appreciated hearing that! She's very good at what she does.I went back today and told her how I have been feeling. She explained in detail everything. My surgery is scheduled next month. Personally I would not go to anyone else! She knows what she is doing and very professional. Just wish I knew I had IBS before, or I'd have had total hysterectomy then. She's the best! Comforting upfront honest and respectful of my feelings. She doesn't need to improve a thing she's the greatest Dr. I promise you that!
Dr. Chotiner is a thoroughly competent doctor. His is not only professional, but takes the time with you as if you are his only patient. I went in with apprehension, walked out with confidence and ease prior to surgery. I am still excited over his thoughtfulness/generosity with giving flowers post op. Thank you so much. This is not just a profession, its personal!!
I suffer from induced menopause due to having a complete hysterectomy. I knew that if I needed hormone replacement therapy I wanted to do bioidentical. I had been to several "wellness" physicians who specialized in this area but always ended up either being overdosed or under diagnosed which left me never feeling well. I finally joined hystersisters and found a lot of information concerning bioidenticals and gynecologist being the best suited to take care of these issues. I scheduled with Dr. Syal and on my initial appointment with him, knew he was the one! Dr. Syal is very experienced in this area and understood fully how I was feeling and took care of me immediately. I now am on the road to feeling well and would highly recommend this doctor and the wonderful staff. Thank you so much for making me feel whole again.
