After suffering from endometriosis for more than 20 years and having undergone multiple operations, I was looking for a doctor who would perform a much need hysterectomy when I found Dr. Franklin. In this day of internet, I had spent weeks looking for the "right" doctor. Dr. Franklin fulfilled all of my needs. Not only is she knowledgable in her field, she also possess a friendly, caring attitude. After my surgery in November 2006, she was available to address my fears and concerns (even contacting me after office hours). I highly recommend Dr. Franklin.

My daughter was diagnosed with OVCA last year, he did the surgery and was so through. I am a retired nurse and have a good sense about a doctors qualifications. Mayo was a absolute best choice for us. She was hospitalized through the Fourth of July, he came and brought his family to visit. The floor staff were astounded, told us that my daughter "must be special" he told my daughter that he was sure he "got it all", i am very impressed with his credentials also.

I felt that i received excellent care. My surgery was very easy and i had an incredibly fast and easy recovery. i was thrilled that my life was able to return to normal again so quikly. Dr. awtrey was very kind and patient and took the time to answer my questions. i felt very comfortable talking to him and being under his care.

Dr. Roger Martin has been my OBGYN since I was 15 and he is awesome. Not only did he deliver my children and perform my hysterectomy he gave my 18 year old daughter her first exam. He is so very personable and his paitents are his main priority above everything, even money. I just love him and if you are in Gainesville, GA and need a OBGYN, Roger Martin is the Man.

Dr. Stark is my PCP for my HMO plan. I went to him for the first time with a mental health issue after a devasting harrassment issue at work. He listened to my concerns, was very understanding that my anxiety was real, prescribed medications that helped me returned to work and also asked about any other issues. I mentioned I had been short of breath climbing stairs for several months but attributed it to age or weight. He ordered some blood tests to be sure. He didn't make me feel bad about my weight. He could tell I already new I needed to lose weight and saw no need to add to my depression, like other doctors have in the past.
I turned out to be severely anemic and needed a blood transfusion. The day after I found that out I was laid off from work. Dr. Stark was amazing and helped me get speed up access to the gastroenterologist because my insurance would end at the end of the month. The quest to find the cause of the anemia led me to a gastroenterologist and my ob/gyn. ... [More..]

Dr. Hines performed my total hysterectomy including removal of my ovaries. She has been very caring and understanding. There has always been someone to respond to my calls with questions and concerns (including Christmas night!!). She has also been very helpful in finding a hrt that works for me. She listens to my problems and concerns and discusses things thoroughly making sure I understand everything. I would recommend her anybody, even family!

For many years other doctors had overlooked what this doctor called a threat to my life- endometrial cancer. She was very caring and honest. She had my best interest at heart. She found the surgent she trusted the most. She called me at home to check on me after my surgery and she takes personal calls from me. She is as sweet as any person I have ever meet. I would surely suggest her to all who will accept and listen. She is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She help me to make the best out of a bad situation, she showed me the merry side of things. I can honestly say I love her and the work she does for others.

I saw Dr. Hunter this past year for a very large tumor on my ovary. It was the size of between a football and basketball. The doctors thought I had ovarian cancer. Thank the Lord it was not. I had a TAH/BSO and Dr. Hunter performed the surgery. He was a very caring doctor. I really liked him and trusted him. I felt better having the surgery by a doctor that was experienced in onocology so if it was cancer I felt he knew what he was doing. He can see patients in Greenville or Spartanburg. He also has a office in Spartanburg Regional Cancer Center as well as in Greenville. Dr. Hunter and his staff were very kind and he answered all my questions I had. He seemed concerned and his office actually moved my appt up several weeks. I went from finding out I had a tumor to having a hysterectomy in 9 days. I highly recommend Dr. Hunter.

Dr. Alverez was a great doctor. He cares about his patients and he did a great job with my surgery. You can not tell really where I was cut. I would suggest him to everyone who has some type of uterus or endometrial cancers.

Dr Parkins is very kind , he smiles and listens to your problems.
He will try to help you even if you just need someone to listen to you , He has helped me and my son with alot of problems dealing with our health , he found out that my ex doctor had been giving me way to much medican so he took me off everything and started over, i was taking 10 pills a day he has me down to 3 aday and I feel so much better

Dr. Ellen preformed my hysterectomy and if I had to do it again I would only go to Dr. Ellen. He was very knowledgeable, caring and had a great bed side manner. Dr. Ellen knows what he is doing. I had very little scaring and no complications. He put me at ease with major surgery as much as anyone could and took the time to address all of my concerns. I would tell anyone who needs this procedure to see him.

He was a savior to me he helped me when noone else would. I had neeb to 3 other doctors because of bad pain and I went to see him and we had to do a total hyst but I am better now and feel the best I have in years. If you need a doctor in Arkansas I would see him.
I highly recommend this physician becuase of the way I feel when I am being treated by him. He listens. He is very highly regarded in the medical community and the nurses love him. His credentials are the very best. He is available to talk to me on the phone when I need and he continues to be available even 10 weeks after my surgery.

He is awesome. He takes his time and explains everything to you. I always felt that he treated me like I was his only patient. His staff is great too. They are very nice and understanding. I would highly recomend this Dr. He did my hysterectomy and I never felt like he was pressuring me into anything. He answered all of my questions and I was able to make an informed decision that worked for me. I did have to decide whether to have my ovaries removed or not. Because he took the time to tell me all of my options, risks, health considerations, etc, I felt that I made the right decision for myself. Highly recomended.

Dr Patel Really listens to you and cares. He knew what needed to be done and took such great care of me! He wont do surgery unless he really feels that is the last step! Dr Patel has a very good bed side manner , he wants to see you smile, HE wants to make sure you FULLY understand what is going on with your body , why he feels you need some tests done.
If you feel you just need to talk with him even after hours he will take the time to talk with you and really listen to what is on your mind. I feel this man saved my life!

Dr. Long is my Medical Oncologist at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Long's area of oncology is breast and gyn cancers. I first saw him following my surgery and then again a few weeks later to set up my chemo treatments. We discussed in thorough the pros and cons of standard treatment versus a study. Based on my diagnosis, we went with the standard treatment. Each visit, we go over all the tests thay were done and discuss any concerns I have. He is not rushed duringn appointments and spends all the time we need explaining everythin, even three years past surgery and chemo treatments. I am able to talk with his nurse or him any time I have a concern. I definitely recommend Dr. Long for chemo treatments.
