I searched for a doctor that would show concern for my physical needs and spent more than six years searching to no avail. Every doctor I met left me in the same condition, with much pain and life altering discomfort.. Dr. Bigelow was recommended to me and I am thankful that he was. He listens and genuinely cares. He listened to what I had to say, gave me the information I needed and the alternatives available to me, to make my decision and then backed me up on my decision to have a hysterectomy. He provided information no one else had ever taken time to give me. I am now post op and feeling better than I have in the last 20 years! I would recommend Dr. Bigelow to anyone seeking a good and caring doctor.

After six years and 6 doctors, I have finally found a wonderful Dr. who approaches health and medicine as I do. She has a preventive approach to illness.
she is very knowledgable on current cutting edge health issues. She prescribes me compounded hormones. She is very available. Always listens. She is a fine person. My husband is her patient as well as other family members and friends.
She is very diligent, thorough, and most trustworthy.
She has treated me for hormone balance, heart condition, thyroid irregularities, and overall health.

After a difficult first pregnancy which ended up in a c-section, I set out to find a doctor who would help me achieve a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesearan). Dr. Severson was highly recommended by the birth professionals in town and they were right. She was an incredible doctor. She is very caring and personable and has a calming spirit. She is very concerned with the emotional side of pregnancy and birth as well as the mechanics of it. She was very honest about the possible complications I could face without trying to scare me. Although there is a list of reasons why I didn't make a "good" VBAC candidate she gave me every chance to be successful and never treated me differently than anyone else. Dr. Friedman is an absolutely fabulous GYN. He performed and helped support me through my very emotional hysterectomy and recovery. I have never been rushed through his office or made to feel like I was a number and not a patient. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who takes a personal approach.

Dr. Thomas Sudela is the OB/GYN who performed my LAVH surgery. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, kind, friendly and willing to explain any questions you may have. He is also a fertility doctor. My experience with Dr. Sudela was excellent and I feel so much better after the VERY necessary surgery. He and his staff made me and my husband feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout the whole process, and they made sure that we were fully aware of every step of the whole process.

If you have ever read the Vagina Monologues you remember "My Vagina's Angry". When you go to Dr Motyka for a check up it is like she took that as a list of recommendations. Not only does she warm up the duck lips but there is calming music in the backgroud, fur covered stirrups, nice purple robes (your choice) and she is a calming presence. I would highly recommend going to see her!

It had been 8 years since I had my pap test and mammogram, needless to say I was scared to death, wondering what they'd find and what his reaction would be. Dr. Sharon was very gentle, very kind and put me totally at ease. He had my best interest at heart and from now on NO OTHER GYN DOCTOR has my full confidence....only DR. SHARON.

I highly recommend Dr. Striplin as an OB/GYN. He is absolutely the greatest! I have been his patient for only about two years, but in that time he has shown his knowledge. I am a 21 year old trying despirately to get pregnant. ( I know I'm very young to be this serious, but I knew it would take a while...maybe even years)It looks as though this is going to be a grueling journey, but I trust Dr,Striplin completely. He is a very compassionate and concerned physician. He puts himself " in your shoes" when advising you , but allows you to make informed drecisionson your own. He is very helpful and has lots of knowledge in the area of infertility. Being physician is like second nature to him. So, to sum it all up, if your looking for a great OB/GYN...Dr.Striplin is the one!

i had been dealing with severe pelvic pain for over a year with no results from my previous doctors. they kept looking in the wrong places! then someone recommended the group for woman where i was introduced to dr keverline. within the first five minutes of telling her my story she knew exactly what to do. she impressed me most because she took the time to listen to everything i had to say. she even gave me a hug when i started crying in her office! she is a great doctor and i am definatly glad i got to meet her.

Dr. Buscher is the best! She has been my doctor with all three of my girlies. Even though I've had three uneventful - nothing to tricky pregnancies she was a great source of knowledge and support. And when my last delivery ended up being an emergency c-section (cord coming before head kind of thing) I knew I was in good hands. And luckly everthing turned out just fine. I was just glad to be with Dr. Buscher and her team at Prentice. Not to mention all the folks at the office are great too. Over all a wonderful experience.

"Like the street" I lucked out when Dr. Mulholland was on call when I needed surgery from the ER. I have been told that he is a very good surgeon from others in the medical field in our area. He's funny, caring and thorough. He came in on his day off when I was still in the hospital to see how I was doing and treated me like I had been one of his patients for a long time. I have been seeing him every since. When I needed another surgery he sent me to one of the best in the country. I would suggest him to anyone.

I came to Dr. Peterson for a 2nd opinion regarding what to do about excessive bleeding and large, growing fibroids. I stayed with her to do my hysterectomy (TVH) and is now following me for a rectocele post-hyster. I recommend her because she is the most gentle examininer I've ever experienced. Very good listener. I feel very comfortable talking to her about very intimate issues! She explains things in very understandable ways and always with a diagram. There are many times I know she was running behind and quite busy, but she never made me to feel rushed. Always answered all my questions with patience. She's a couple times even delayed going to lunch to make sure all was done to my satisfaction. She's so down to earth, reassuring but not falsely so and is helping me be patient with healing when I all want to do is "FIX" the new issue.
The only "improvement" I can think of is to be a bit more thorough in pre-op and in procedure examining. Both Dr. P and I now suspect the recto... [More..]

Dr. Sama is a highly skilled, confident doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner with a good sense of humor and a comforting way which helped me relax at a time when I was very upset. He made certain that he visited me often in the hospital and was there the moment I came out of recovery. He always listened to me and was patient when I asked him my long list of questions. He explained everything in detail so I would understand. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a GYN/ONC. I was very lucky to have him as my surgeon for the TAH/BSO.

Dr. Sims has the very best bedside manner of any doctor or healthcare provider I have ever known - and I have known many! She loves every one of her patients and each one of them is the most important aspect of her day. She has so much respect for the women she treats and is competent and confident in her skills to give them the best treatment available. When you are in her care, you have nothing to worry about because she has everything under control. She makes sure you understand clearly any procedures or treatments before they are done and then, once doctor and patient agree, the problem is treated swiftly and without drama. I want to be her when I grow up. What an incredible woman!

In the course of treatment of my disease, I have been seen by a number of different urologists in the Cincinnati area. Dr. Oneil is knowledgeable, friendly, and one of the most professional urologists I have been treated by.
His staff are remarkable at running his office. Unless there is an emergency, if you have a 1:00 appointment, you will be seen at 1:00...which ia unheard of these days! As far as I'm concerned, he is one of the finest urologists in Cincinnati!

Dr. Matile is an outstanding physician. He is a top rated surgeon, compassionate and dedicated to his patients and his practice. He has an excellent bedside manor and is a wonderful man. He delivered my son via c-section and he also performed my total abdominal hysterectomy and I have been so happy to have him as my physician. He was also just voted as the #1 OB/GYN in the Kansas City area. He has an office in Leawood, KS as well as KC, MO. I highly recommend him!

Dr Reilly checked in on my in lieu of my regular doctor while at the hospital after a TAH. I found her to be compassionate yet humorous. She was interested in my recovery and my well being. Dr Friedman has only been my OB/GYN for 3 years but during that time she has treated me in a friendly, professional manner. She's always taken my concerns seriously offering support and professional advice. She quickly diagnosed my condition, uterine fibroids, and gave me options, not ultimatums. She is of good spirit and all her colleagues speak highly of her, including the OR surgical staff. Personal friends who work locally in the medical field all sing Dr. Friedman's praises, as do I. I highly recommend her services as a OB/GYN and as a surgeon! Other physycians who checked on me during my hospitalization after a TAH told me Dr Friedman did an "amazing job" during my surgery. One stated she wouldnt have been able to have removed the 2 large fibroids from the "small" bikini line incision.

Dr. Byron Holt is the most caring, sensitive doctor I've ever had the good fortune of dealing with. He is very informative, provides many options and listens! Yes ladies this doctor listens to what you have to say. He performed my surgery and I've never been better! All I can say is that if you need a FANTASTIC OB/GYN he and his practice are the ones you will be very happy and comfortable and in good hands with for sure. His staff are friendly, courteous and caring I wish I could work there!
