Dr. Bemus is the most caring, compassionate and understanding doctor I have had the pleasure of meeting. (I have several health issues and have been to hundreds of doctors the past 39 years of my life). He could not have been more loving throughout the entire process with my husband and me. (We have been married for 16 years and do not have children). Dr. Bemus acknowledged what a difficult time this was for us and treated us like family from the moment we first talked about the surgery all the way through to my 2 week check-up. I need surgery on my feet next and asked if he could do foot surgery as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Bemus!!! :)
Dr. Furman is a wonderful, caring, sympathetic, and concerned doctor. I have been seeing her for years. Three years ago, she performed my uterine ablation and just recently, she performed my Laproscopic Supercervical Hysterectomy. She gave orders to ensure that I had little to no pain during my recovery. Going in to the surgery I was extremely nervous, but she reassured me that I was going to be fine. I would recommend her to any female undergoing severe pain due to female issues.
Dr Yoho and Jeremy are great doctors. The staff here is amazing. Very comfortable and friendly environment. I would recommend these guys to any family or friends. So happy with Dr. Yoho and the amazing results.
I highly recommend Dr. Amanda Nickles Fader for treatment of endometrial cancer. When I received the diagnosis of cancer, my GYN referred me to an oncologist here in northern VA; since I felt I got the brush-off with some of the answers from him, I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I researched for the best cancer center in the area and chose to go to the 3rd highest ranking cancer center in America, Johns Hopkins (it’s worth the 90 minute drive). I chose Dr. Fader because of her high ranking based on peer review, and because of her research work on minimally invasive surgury and high-risk endometrial cancer. Dr. Fader has extensive training and experience in the use of Da Vinci robotics to perform gyn surgeries.
Dr. Fader is very supportive; she took the time to explain everything to me and encouraged me to ask questions. I never felt like she was too busy to talk to me. I had the Da Vinci robotic laparoscopic total hysterectomy & BSO 1 week ago; recovery has been excellent thus far.... [More..]

I first met Dr. Frank over a year ago. My general practitioner is the one who ordered my ultrasound that found my cyst and fibroid. I was so scared because of my family history of ovarian, and uteran cancer. My first visit with Dr. Frank I found him very reassuring and he listened to all my concerns. He ordered my first surgery and I did not hesitate. I just wanted to have it all taken out because of my fear of cancer. Before my surgery my anxiety was high and I was calling the doctors office almost every day with some kind of complaint. All the office staff that I talked to, his nurses especially were very empathetic and reassuring. They sent messages to Dr. Frank and his suggestions for using teas and herbs were surprising for me to hear from a Dr. I did not get a total hysterectomy from my first surgery because insurance would not pay for it. Dr. Retzler was a life saver for me after my hysterectomy. I lived in Seattle at the time so I drove to see her in Portland, OR. She specializes in hormones/bio identical and anti aging (for your entire body) in many ways from brian health, to thyroid to adrenal function to nutrition to skin care products for your face. She herself is always learning and sharing so she can better help us. She will treat men too.
She has a strong personality but, listens and suggests what she thinks is best for your body and everyone is different. She is compassionate and friendly. She could improve here self by finding a lab to do urine testing for hormone and saliva and compare it to the blood tests she requires as I believe we'd get a better picture.
I was first given pellets of estradiol, progesterone and testosterone injected under my skin (on my butt) and it turned out to be too much hormone for me and i gain a little weight but, felt so much better. We had to wait for them to wear off... [More..]
He is a wonderful doctor, he is so friendly and he is very serious with his job. He treated me, in Hawaii and charged so little and he also made me feel comfortable. I recommend him 100%

This dr is based out of Abbotsford BC Canada - but I had to select a state - I think we should have the option to add Canadian doctors to this site as well so I opted to send you this fabulous doctor to add to your site. He is an absolutely amazing ob gyn and deserves to be added to your page.
Dr. Petkov is very genuine when dealing with his patients. I always get a little nervous when going to the doctor's office, but he immediately made me feel comfortable. He also explained my options thoroughly and didn't make me feel rushed. Great doc!

I was referred to Dr. Elkas (a gynecological oncologist) by my OB/Gyn after my annual Pap smear and several other tests indicated some suspicious cells that might be cancerous or pre-cancerous. Dr. Elkas first performed a D&C, and when the results still came back inconclusive, we opted for a total laparoscopic hysterectomy. Dr. Elkas' kind demeanor and patient explanations put me at ease during this difficult time for me, instilling complete confidence that this was the right decision.
I came to Aesthetic and Vein Center hoping to getting the big blue veins under my eyes removed. I have had them all my life and they seemed to get even more noticeable as I got older. When I did not wear any make up under my eyes family members and friends would ask me if I got hit in the eye because they looked bruised or they would tell me I looked sick. After my experience with the Aesthetic and Vein Center I am happy to say I am very pleased with my results. My veins are completely gone and I notice results immediately after the procedure. My soon to be husband who sees me with and without make up all the time says he notices a big difference and the ladies in my office say my eyes look more bright and I look more awake. I am so happy I came across their website and I would recommend them to any who has the same ugly blue veins under the eyes as I did.
Dr. Friedman is a gynecologic oncologist in Burbank, CA. He is kind, straightforward and reassuring - in short, a nice guy. MDs that are experts at this level of sub-specialty don't always have a sense of humor or an interest in how you feel. Dr. Friedman has both. He is personable & professional with a down-to-Earth demeanor & talks to you like a real person, alleviating your real fears and addressing your real concerns. I have had a consultation for a complex mass on my ovary with follow-up visits & testing. I got a 2nd opinion with a City of Hope MD & he was hesitant, difficult to talk to & could not give me answers on the spot. In contrast, Dr. Friedman gave me information that answered questions I had not yet had a chance to ask, & the first thing he did - after talking to me about his cat photos :) - was calm me down & let me know the next steps. I was put at ease & knew I was in the right office.

Dr Shashoua performed a Da Vinci robotic hysterectomy at Illinois Masonic hospital for me. He knows about adenomyosis, which many practitioners are not familiar with. He has his own ultrasound machine in his office if he needs to see your insides, so you do not have to go in for separate imaging, he can do it the same day as your appointment with him. This is very convenient. Unlike so many doctors, he accepts Medicaid Medicare (both) and you do not need a referral from your primary or any other doctor to see him. He scheduled me for surgery in a timely manner- I believe I waited less than a month and a half. I am mentally ill with Major Depressive Disorder with Psychosis, and I felt both he and his staff were sensitive to my needs. I have not yet followed up for my post hysterectomy check up at 2 weeks, but I anticipate he will continue to be a good doctor.
