He is smart, intuitive and decisive while at the same time being empathic and tender. He delivered my first child by an unplanned c-section and only 6 1/2 years later am I thinking "should I have panicked?" He made it all OK while being efficient, professional and HUMAN! He is missed here in VA, but is an asset in his current home I am sure. Thanks Dr. A for a beautiful girl who is now in 1st grade!

I am a patient of Dr Shalini Kapoor's (she also goes by the name Dr Shalini Kapoor-Grover, so it is best to look under both names as I did). I have had the best experience I coud ever have at a doctor's office. She blew me away with her knowledge. And she can answer questions on any specialty. She also is very skillerd in fine surgery. I recommend her to anyone who deserves to have a doctor who cares. Even people fly in fro out of state and country to see her. That is how good she is. Book early to get in with her is my best advice. But well worth it.

Dr. Gibbs is AWESOME! She not only treats me but my mother as well. I have a family history of endometriosis and she said my mother's was one of the worst cases of endometriosis she has ever seen. Of course now I am battling with it. I had a laparoscopy 2 years ago and 6 months of Lupron injections, which I would NEVER do again. And here I am 2 years later with all the endometriosis having grown back. After long discussions and crying sessions my husband and I have decided for me to have a hysterectomy. Dr. Gibbs gives you the best advice and really goes into detail about all the options and really wants what's best for her patients. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone. She is a petite little thing and really tries to encourage me to lose weight since I am on the obese side (so is my mother) and sometimes that is a little annoying but I still love her!! She only wants what's best!

Dr. Boehm has been my physician for several years now. I have been in one life threatening condition regarding a pregnancy with my last child. Dr. Boehm did the necessary tests and made the decision to deliver my child early which saved my life as well as the life of my child. He also has helped my though another hard decision, and that one was to have a hysterectomy. He is very professional and tells it like it is even though some of the things women may not want to hear. He has a good bedside manner. I feel that Dr. Boehm is one of the best OB doctors in Stevens Point and I will continue to receive treatment from him and I will continue to refer patients to him.
I would not see anotheer OBGYN for the rest of my life even if I had to travel from the moon! He is the most normal, compassionate, competent, genuine human being I have seen in a doctor! Especially in this day and age. He takes care of my sisters and all my cousins, and we all feel he deserves national recognition. My highest recommendations. From a simple Pap smear to delivering 5 kids in our families, to my sister's breast cancer, to my miscarriage, etc., he is much more than you can ever ask in a modern doctor.

Dr Laroia was a great help to me when I needed a hysterectomy. I transferred from another Dr. who was not satisfactory and Dr Laroia's office got me in for a visit in less than a week and they were abe to use the da Vinci robotic system to do the surgery three weeks later.
. It was quick and easy surgery, no open incision, and I was hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner for 12 within a week. I was also back to work within 8 days or so. HIs office is professional and efficient and was courteous in every way. Transferring to Dr Laroia was the best decision I have made in years and I have sent several of my friends to him over the last year..
Dr Lisa Kaepernick is simply the best GYN I have ever seen. She did my Total Vaginal Hysterectomy with anterior and posterior repairs. She is not only wonderfully personable, but very compassionate and follows you with all the concern of an old time country doctor. I was so impressed that she personally, returned my calls prior to my surgery (and after) instead of her nurses. She has a bright and cheery, but very professional personality. I can honestly say I will be referring people to her because of all of my wonderful experiences with her during the last 2 months. I also feel so good about her, that should she move within the state (up to 8 hours away) I would definitely travel to see her, and I don't say that about much of anything.

When I was browsing for any recent articles written by Dr. Rodney J.S. Deaton,M.D., I found one recommendation for him, but as I read through it, it became clear that Dr. Rodney J. S. Deaton has been confused with some other Dr. Deaton. The patient stated Dr. Deaton performed her HYSTERECTOMY! Rodney J.S. Deaton, M.D. is a psychiatrist who also provides psychotherapy. I have been his patient for numerous years. Although he is an incredible psychiatrist, to my knowledge he does not perform hysterectomies. I will inform Dr. Deaton of your error.
I had endometriosis and was seeing a Doctor who did not know what to do with me. His nurse called me and told me to contact Dr. Watts. The first time I saw him he ran some tests and called me with the results very quickly. He removed some cysts, and told me that I should consider a full hysterectomy. I have seen many Dr's and there are those who are not confident in themselves, and a few that are. Dr. Watts is one of those Dr's whose self confidence makes you feel safe. He is a patient and caring professional who never portrays any hestiancy to give advice, refer out, or do any procedures he thinks will help. He has done 3 surgeries on me, the last one he went in and removed some adhesions from a previous surgery and got rid of chronic nausea. This was something I had even gone to the Mayo clinic for and they were unable to help. Dr. Watts is a brilliant Dr, with fantastic people skills as well as medical knowledge. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Garguilo. I had a "giant" (yes, that's the term used by the radiologist in the MRI report) fibroid (also known as myoma). It measured 10.3cmX13cmX10.5cm. I went to MGH first and the surgeon there wanted to remove it in an open surgical procedure. My fiance at the time had heard about the da vinci robot and that it was being used to remove uterine myomas. He did some research and found Dr. Garguilo at the Brigham. Dr. Garguilo successfully removed the myoma almost four months ago. The surgery lasted approximately 4.5 hours and I had no blood loss. It was a total success and within two weeks of the surgery, I had to remind myself to take it easy because I felt so good. I just had a hysteroscopy and the uterus looks "unremarkable" so in a few more months we will start trying to get pregnant. I am blessed that I live in Boston where Dr. Garguilo practices. Performed my Da Vinci hysterectomy. Was extremely skilled and proficient at the procedure. I would highly recommend him. And he has a wonderful "bedside manner." He took a lot of time to listen to my concerns, discuss a game-plan and answer all my questions.
Dr. Dhawan is a neurosurgeon.His staff is friendly, wait is between 5 to 15 minutes and the office is pleasant and comfortable. I went to see him for a surgical consult for my back,herniated discs and several years of cronic pain. He was very specific about my injury and explained my options in detail. He recommended surgery and was very confident that it would improve my quality of life. We spent two of the visits just talking about the surgery so I would feel confident that I was making the right decision. He even wrote down details of the surgery so I could review them later with my husband. While in the hospital, he came to check on me not only in the morning but also in the evening. Dr. Dhawan expained to me exaclty what to expect after surgery, and did not fill me with false hope.This man is a great surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner, I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering having spinal surgery because he truly gave me my life back.

If you're going to have a Psychiatrist...this is the guy who listens. If a med is not right for you, he will work with you until there is one that does. He doesn't try to play Doctor and act like he's smarter than you are about your own body and how it works....brilliant Doctor. Highly Recommend.

Dr. Khamvognsa has been my OBGYN for a few years now. I recently had an outpatient procedure done with him and he made me feel comfortable and informed the whole way. I knew he would do perfect & gentle work, which was cofirmed when I felt perfect right after the surgery. He is very caring and understanding about any questions. He never makes you feel rushed in appointments which I really appriciate. Overall, Dr. Khamvongsa's knowledge & experience shows in his comforting approach & great care.
