I recently moved to Delaware as a transfer with my company and was referred to Dr. Teitjens-Grillo by a co-worker "who found her". Having be raised and under the medical care of Princeton, New Jersey doctors, I did not have high expectations of meeting that standard. It came as a wonderful gift to be connected with someone like Dr. Teitjens-Grillo the first time out. She is informative, knowledgeable and asks questions about things that I had not considered which confirmed her thoroughness. My 19 year old daughter is now under her care and while I am not "allowed" to ask questions about my daughter's health under HIPPA protection, I know she is in fine hands. Dr. Teitjens-Grillo comes highly recommended to you.

she is very good at helping with the problems that come with hysterectomy.all other dr.s said i was crazy she looked at me and said you need hrt.she has gotton some of my life back for me.i still have problems but she is trying to find the meds to help.she said different thing work for different people no one is the same .just love her.she has help alot

When I moved here eight years ago I started seeing Dr. Hovey as my GYN.
She has always put me at ease and been concerned about my comfort. I find her to be very dilegent in her work. She knows her job and is good at it!
I especially recommend Margaret Hovey as a Surgeon, she has done two surgerys for me, each of which turned out to be a good decision.
The Staff is always friendly and helpful.
I had a recent experience where I was waiting anxiously for test results from a breast biopsy, (and knew that my regular doctors office would put me off for another day) and I called and got the preliminary good news from Dr Hoveys Nurse right away.

Dr. Santiago is the BEST! During a hard time, she was so supportive to me and my husband. I was soo sad to find out she left the Ashburn/Reston practice when I called to make my appt. w/her. I don't know if I will follow her, since Alexandria is too far, but I may since she is worth it. You can't get a better doctor.

I went to Dr. Shapter for a 2nd opinion relating to a gyn problem I was having. When he was unable to pinpoint or describe the problem with any certainty, my previous doctor's last comment to me was, "You're in a tough spot. I don't envy you."
Dr. Shapter's secretary was wonderful over the phone. She fit me into the schedule very quickly. And then Dr. Shapter. She was SO nice. So easy to talk to. She listened to me, let me ask questions, answered ALL of them as many times and as many ways as I needed until we were both satisfied that I understood. She looked at my previous records, ordered new tests, reviewed the results personally and asked her own "preferred" radiologists for their expert interpretation as well. She CALLED me at HOME with my results, to find out if I had any more questions, and to discuss what our next steps should be.

Dr. Balcomb has been my gyn for many years, but this last year she has also become my friend and support. I was unexpectedly found to have uterine cancer, she has performed multiple surgeries on me, and is so supportive, caring and concerned. She also referred me to other specialists when she felt they could serve me better, but remains there checking in with me throughout.

Dr. Hill performed my LSH on September 26, 2007. I know that not all doctors are familiar with this procedure and Dr. Hill and his practice LochHaven OB/GYN actually TEACH LSH to other doctors. I have been a patient of this practice for 12 years. It was very important to me that I have an LSH versus losing my cervix and I had virtually all options available to me with Dr. Hill. Likewise, hysterectomy was NOT his first suggestion but my choice and an appropriate treatment for my situation. I highly recommend Dr. Hill and LochHaven OB/GYN. He is experienced, upbeat, confident and spoke intelligently to me.

Dr. Dale Fuller has been my doctor for several years. I was referred to him by a friend who said he was the most caring doctor she has ever had. He listens to me and spends time discussing any question I have. When I was pregnant, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and knew we were in great hands. We have a beautiful little baby girl now--and I owe so much of it to Dr. Fuller. My friend had some GYN problems and he took care of her as well. Both of us think he is the greatest!!

Dr. Melinda Martin-Guess has been my ob/gyn for both my kids. Shes a very knowledgeable doctor. I was considered a "high risk" patient and she was right on top of all my problems. My pregnancy ended up being a wonderful experience thanks to her and her staff.
I have been seeing Dr. Collis for about 10 yrs. I have been with the clinic where she works since 1992. Even when I lived out of State I would schedule my needed visits when I was back home visiting.
Dr. Collis has treated me for a wide range of issues anything from yearly vist, pregnancy issues and even a cancer scare.
As well as performing one surgery for me and SEVERAL in office proceedures.
All of my experiences with her have been great. Her very candid bedside manner makes every experience pleasant even when it's painful. She has always explains everything to me in detail as well as discussing more than one option when options are available. Her patience is wonderful as well. I will be having a hysterectomy in about 5 days, something I should have done by her suggestion 4-5 yrs ago. She is up front, honest and straight to the point with no sugar coating. Dr. Chudacoff is an amazing doctor. I went to see him regarding fibroid tumors that were causing me extreme symptoms.I had back problems, heavy menstrual cycles, pain during sex and not to mention a huge abdomen. Other doctors had said that only a hysterectomy would cure my ailments. After a consultation with Dr. Chudacoff I was not only reassured that I had more options he even gave me hope for a future family of my own. I can't sing his praises enough. I scheduled and completed the exablade procedure and within a few days I was back to work, feeling better and symptoms abated.
His bedside manner was honest and helpful from the very start. I felt at ease and comfortable from the beginning. He contacted me regarding my follow-up care and made sure that I was healing properly and with minimal discomfort. He saved my life and restored my smile. I will recommend him to any and everyone that needs a spectacular gyno!

I have also had dealings with Dr.Khouzami.I had to see him for a high risk pregnancy in 2006.He was very confident and comforting,that i could delivery safetly and that the baby would be ok too.I delivered March of 06 and he was early but healthy.Had it not been for the faith of this doctor and the trust i had in him they would of sent me to Pitt.I also know he returns your phone calls himself with any concerns or problems you may have.Im quite confident that this pregnancy with have the same positive results as the last.As i am see'ing him throughout this pregnancy too.I wish there were more doctors with the same respect and confidence he has.I have recommended him to all friends and family who mention needing a good doctor.

He is part of a 15 member team called womens specialty center. They are specially trained and experienced with high risk pregnancies, cancer and other high risk womens needs. I have been with him for 10 years and I have referred him and his doctors to my personal friends and relatives and they all have had wonderful experiences. He takes the time and sits down and listens, and being hes married for over 15 years with children(daughters) he knows on a personal level. Hes been treating my endo since the age of 16, hes delivered my son and has done 6 d&c's on me as well as 2 hysterectomys.

I had a total hysterectomy on 09/20/2007, which included removal of my cervix. I went home the next day. I feel unbelievably well. I went shopping the next two days after getting home. I can't even tell that I've had any surgical procedure, I feel rejuvenated. I have so much energy. I had a very small hairline incision and a naval incision, which required three staples to close. My uterus was removed through my vagina. Dr Beuchat comes highly recommended, by several local physicians, including my family doctor. I had my staples taken out after 5 days and my doctor said that I had to stay off work for at least one more week. My whole experience has been unbelievably good. Dr Beuchat is a true professional. His surgical expertise is absolutely exceptional.

I was referred to Dr. Moheb by my primary care physician after I had seen an OB/GYN who made me feel like I was a major imposition on her day. Dr. Moheb is great. He takes time with his patients to make sure that all of their needs are fully addressed. He is very patient, kind and has a fantastic bedside manner. Dr. Moheb turned my scary situation into one that I was fully informed about and felt comfortable tackling head on.
