I am recommending Dr Dawley due to her expertise, experience and knowledge within her specialty. She is very professional but at the same time gentle and compassionate.
I had surgery recently - laparascopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy and although I'm still in the healing stages feel it went very well. She also did a bladder surgery - no more leaking when coughing or sneezing!
She is now also performing the DaVinci hysterectomies - robotic assisted surgery.
I appreciate her because she's very up front and to the point, but she will also stop and answer any questions you have.
I've had doctors before who "talked the talk" - telling you what they think you want to hear, but I prefer someone who tells it like it is. I also think it's important to have an office staff who is professional and supportive. I know when I call that Dr Dawley is consulted about my call and things happen.

Dr. Dohr has changed my life. I have suffered cysts and pain for years and she is the first to take the initiative to do surgery and see what was going on. She found endometriosis and I will soon have an elective hysterectomy. She is caring, knowledgeable and truly great at what she does. I am blessed to have her as my physician.

After a year of two doctors not able to find or treat my problem, I contacted Dr. Kowalski for a third opinion. She was concerned, thorough, and seemed to really want to help me find an answer. And that's what she did. She ran a test that had not been run, found my problem, and solved it through surgery. From the time we discussed the surgery options until my post-op visits, I felt completely calm and secure about my treatment plan, and rightly so. She loves her job (meeting challenges and helping people), and she does that job very well.

Dr Dobrzynski Is by far the most caring doctor I have had the privilage to know in all my 40 years. She always has a smile and a sweet disposition. I came to her on the advice of my local GYN who couldn't help me with a problem I had been suffering from for YEARS (we thought adenomyosis which ended up endometriosis), and She took the time to listen, to offer options and to help me make a very hard decision. When the first surgery (HTA) I had didn't work, she didn't give up untill I was "fixed (TAH)". She treats me like she's known me all my life, and even remembers my husbands name! Seriously, what doctor do you know who does that? She is a jewel, and if you miss out on having her as a doctor, you've missed out on a LOT!!! I travel 2 hours one way just to go to her office, and I honestly would travel more, she's that good. :) I see her at her Farifax Va office, Her staff is very friendly and helpful, and Melissa in her Arlington BLVD office is the best insurance person I have ever wo... Dr. Kathleen Rasmussen is a great surgeon, doctor and person. She just performed a TAH/BSO on me in January, 2010 and her calm demeanor was very comforting. In the pre-op appt she explains everthing in terms that are easy to understand. I was very nervous but after the pre-op appt I was much calmer. She is very compassionate, kind and willing to spend time with you to make sure you understand everything. I am happy with my surgery results and look forward to being her patient for many years to come. Her staff is great too !
Dr. Phibbs is wonderful. I had a rather sudden health crisis that was appearing like it could have been the worst case scenario and Dr. Phibbs scheduled my surgery within 10 days of seeing him. His office staff is the BEST I have ever dealt with in the medical community! The absolute best! I ended up having a complete/total abdominal hysterectomy, 3 tumors removed, 2 were in tricky places that could have caused damage to other organs, but Dr. Phibbs was able to remove the masses without damaging adjacent organs. Dr. Phibbs wife with her holistic/acupunture/eastern medicine practice (right there in the same office) put ear seeds in my ears before surgery and I had ZERO pain, nausea and/or vomiting. NO PAIN. I did not use pre-op meds, the pain pump after surgery, pain injections, or even oral medications...EVER! I have known Dr. Leslie J. Korostoff since December 2007 when I was diagnosed with Leiomyoma of Uterus in other words Uterine Fibroids. I just had my total hysterectomy done on March 1, 2010. From the begining Dr. Korostoff has always explained carefully every detail of my ultrasounds. Has taken the time to listened to my concerns and taken the time to easy my mind. Always willing to explain every procedure, any possible side effects but most importantly to listened. She was on time for my surgery, she was there to talk to me prior to my surgery and took the time to visit me and to check on me during my hospital stay. I have the outmost respect for Dr. Korostoff and I highly recommend her to any woman who is going through the process of having a total hysterectomy.

These words will hardly do justice to Dr. Cheatham. My affinity and gratitude for her is beyond any words I could put down here.
I first went to the Physician's Assistant for annual pap, etc. Because I had no doctor in Tulsa, I had my results sent to Dr. Cheatham, the OBGYN. Divine intervention. Dr. Cheatham is warm, caring and I am very grateful that she is the doctor who guided me through this surgery. What struck me most was that she asked me what I thought, gave me the time to consider options and never rushed me for an answer...even though I needed the surgery sooner rather than later. She is also the surgeon who performed the TAH and took the same care in the operating room as she did in the office.
Absolutely first rate care. I heartily recommend her for anything having to do with her specialty.

Was an outstanding doctor. Helped me better understand what I was going to be going through and of course what I did go through. Has amazing bedside manner and was an excellent surgeon. Even the little things were awesome. I had asked for pictures of my fibroid (As gross as that is) and he did. My after surgery care was fantastic. Removing staples was painless. He really was a major step in helping me feel so much better about my surgery.
Meeting others who have been through the same situation wished they would have had Dr. Greenspan. I know I was lucky to have him be a major part of my surgery/recovery team.
He is Obygyn/surgeon/amazing doctor :)

I was scared out of my ming. My regular GYN called on a Sunday afternoon right before Christmas to tell me that I had cancer on the wall of my vagina (I had a complete hysterectomy). He said that it was rare but referred me to Dr. Abbas. The earliest appointment that I could get was going to be mid January. Dr.s wonderful nurse, Kay, said "You know, he wouldn't want you to wait that long...can you come in tomorrow evening at 6:30? We'll be out of the office for the day but he'll come in to see you". I almost fainted...No Dr. does that anymore.
My husband and I went to see him and we were both terrified. Kay held my hand through the whole examination and Dr. Abbas talked to me about nonsense stuff to keep my mind off of what he was doing...smart man. I have "abnormal cells" but not cancer and will continue to see me until he's sure there's no reason to.
I love him and I love Kay...I just really wish he was a regular GYN!

I went to Dr. Verret for a hair transplant. I had already visited a few other doctors and even went to Bosley. I was impressed with Dr. Verret. He did my consult and quoted me a price with no surprises on the day of surgery. The surgery went smoothly (and he even bought lunch). I am now about a year after surgery and it looks great. I recently went to a new barber and he has not commented that he noticed anything was done.

Dr. Marici is caring and down to earth you don't have to feel intimidated or uncomfortable asking him questions. I underwent surgery with Dr. Marici a couple of years ago and went in at ease knowing I had a highly competent Physician performing my surgery and all of my questions and concerns were answered before hand. He has a gentle nature about him and I can't speak more highly of him. I Absolutely recommend him.

The care provided by Dr. Fong, Dr. Dayo, PAs Jennifer and Stephanie, the nurses and ancillary staff was certainly “state of the art.” Special thanks to Dr. Drier for anesthesia twice without disrupting my right TMJ.
During Pre-Op, Post-Op, Recovery, and my stay, it seemed that everything possible was done to further my recovery and/or make me less uncomfortable.

The professional courtesies extended to my retired doctor brother by your phone calls pre and post op were above the call of duty. The time you took with my RN sisters who were present here in Venice was not even expected by them, but was certainly appreciated.
