I highly recommend Dr. Schoyer 1305 York Ave. in Manhattan as a Gynecologist. I see her once a year for my yearly Pap test and gynecological exam. She is very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.

I am a nurse at the busiest OB hospital in the state of maryland-I needed gyn surgery and I asked the other nurses and doctors who they would go to or would send a family member and they all said Dr Steren-I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy and went home the same day(all the othe gyns I went to would only do an abdominal hysterectomy)-I had a great recovery and was back at work in 10 days!!-He is the best!! I don't know why anyone who needs surgery would go anywhere else!

I have and will recommend Dr. Towsley to my lady friends. In fact, I referred my own daughter to him. He is careing (sp ?), interested in your well being, and he is kind and patient. He takes his time to hear your concerns. He is highly professional and has a great sense of humor. He is extremely comforting, friendly and trustworthy.
After receiving not so good news, he personally called me at home and my cell phone to check on me. That is very touching and greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dr. Towsley.
I just love his bedside manner.

This doctor is a wonderful one--He is kind and caring. I had my surgery schuduled for after he had gone on vacation I had so many questions before that I postponed the surgery for a nother day and when I went to see him he said " Was thinking about u when I was away knowing you where nervous and was going to call you when I got back--Saw I was not going to have surgery he said he said that if it was a emergancy he would have had me in before he left. He explains everything in normal language so you will understand. He is a gyn oncologist. Great person

I have had horrible pelvic pains/irregular cycle. I went to Dr. Moreno & after several tests, she found a tumor in my uterous. She is very thorough. Very friendly & listens.
I was taken to the ER with massive hemorraging. No gynocological issues before. Dr. Shapter was on call and did an excellent job of diagnosing and supporting me as a patient. I was given answers to all my questions, and made a partner in decisions. This was an entirely new experience for me, I am usually very healthy. She helped me to understand and get more information so that I was not passive during the entire process. My surgery went extremely well, and my incision was a work of art! I like that she is conservative, and thinks through options before she acts. I couldn't have asked for a better gynocologist/surgeon if I had sought one on my one.

Dr. Rhoads is truly a wonderful OBGYN. She is very patient and understanding of her patients' needs. Her demeanor and bed side manner are very comforting. I am a 36 year old mother of 3 that suffered from numerous fibroids. Dr. Rhoads explained in detail what my treatment options were. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy performed by Dr. Rhoads. She's very compassionate and personally made sure my surgical experience was uneventful and pain was manageable. She's always available to answer any questions or concerns via phone, email, or office visit. I would definately recommend Dr. Barbara Rhoads!

Dr. Arsham is the best. He always takes the time needed and respectfully considers and answers any and all questions asked. He does not make you feel stupid for asking common questions that he hears a million times a day. He takes an active role in your health care not only as a physician but as a coach thus motivating you through your course of treatment. He is often very busy, you may have to wait some time before he can see you, but when he is with you he spends the amount of time you need and never rushes you out the door.
I've been a patient of Dr. Mills for 5 years and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a doctor who really cares about medicine and what he can do for his patients.
He takes his time with each patient and really does an excellent job of explaining each detail involved in any diagnosis. He also does an excellent job of questioning one about any problems that might be ongoing.
I've been in the hospital several times in the past few years and Dr. Mills has personally called my residence to inquire of my wife about my status.
I wouldn't have anyone else as my personal physician.

I met Dr Jennifer Lee after my primary care doctor suggested I see her. I have suffered from macular degeneration and was seen by another doctor down in Tacoma. They had done one laser then told me that there was nothing I could do. I was about to lose my license to drive because my vision was getting worse. Dr Lee spend time explaining what macular degeneration was. She also told me I had a few other problems and said we would work on treating all of them. I have seen her for 4 years now. I have never met a doctor that cares as much for her patients as she does. She is attentive to every detail and I tell everyone I know to go see her. My vision has improved since seeing her and I have kept my drivers license!

I went to Dr. Carley because I was having some problems with prolapse. He did not pressure me in any way to rush to surgery, but gave me some alternatives to try first so I would have time to think about what I wanted to do. He spent as much time with me as I needed, answered my multitude of questions, and explained in detail what I needed to have done; and once I decided to go ahead with the surgery, he even called me the night before to see if I had any questions and to assure me that he and his staff would take good care of me. Subsequent to that time, my daughter had some problems with her bladder, and, of course, I sent her directly to Dr. Carley. He is absolutely the kindest, gentlest, most caring doctor I have ever gone to. He is extremely qualified, and I would recommend Dr. Carley without hesitation to anyone having the type of problems that he specializes in.

Just an update, it is now 2 years later and I am still a patient of Dr. Kazadi's. She has done 2 surgeries on me and still continues to follow my care. She is a caring, concerned dr. who does not rush your appt (how untypical these days!). She addresses all of your issues and either takes good notes or has an excellent memory for details. You will not feel like a "number" in her office. That is hard to find in the HMO world.

Dr. Minaya is amazing. She saved my life 6 & 1/2 years ago and has given me 2 healthy and beautiful girls. She is the most caring and dedicated doctor I have ever had.
Dr. Kolbeck delivered my daughter 7 years ago with no complications after having many complications with my son. He was suggested as a high risk doctor from my family doctor. He is now doing my LAVH and has done nothing but listen to what I have to say and let me make the decisions. He believes we know what we are filling and we should get to decide from his suggestions of treatments and he doesn't try to change your mind. Very refreshing.
