I am a 33 yr old female and I have struggled for the past 6 or 7 years now with a condition called xanthoma (fat deposits around my eyes). My first visit with Dr. Gausas was wonderful.
She was very attentive and understanding of my personal situation. She also specalizes in plastic surgery. I am grateful to have found her at the University of Penn. Thank you to Dr. Gausas and her kind staff. I cannot wait until my next appointment!
Dr Biggs is the most caring, knowledgeable doctor I have ever visited - she actually takes time to make sure her patients understand exactly what she is saying and how it relates to their health. I have recommended her to at least a dozen friends over the years I have been seeing her, and everyone who has taken my advice and called her is still seeing her!

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I did not even know what an oncologist was! Dr. Reid walked into the exam room and must have seen the look on my face...complete panic. He explained my situation, including sketches of the organs which may be involved, the exact procedure, where he would cut "cheating it down" to accomodate my tan line. He made me relax, but still made sure I understood the urgency and severity of a radical versus normal hysterectomy.
Because of his diligence, and his staff, I had surgery so soon after diagnosis that they got all the cancer without further treatment. The surgery went perfectly, and he even spent extra time on my ab muscles as I work out a lot and he wanted them to be tight again without my working too hard.
Dr. Reid was in my hospital room the night after surgery with the news that my lymph node was clean, and made sure I knew the cancer was completely removed before I even left the hospital. I could not have asked for a better outcome.... [More..]

I was originally sent to Dr. Jewell about 12 years ago by one of his associates because he specializes in fertility issues. He ran tests and eventually did a laparoscopy and found that I had endometriosis. After 5 years of trying to get pregnant, I finally had an answer. After a 6 month hormone treatment, I became pregnant. I now have 2 beautiful children. Forward 8 years later. I had developed adenomyosis along with the endometriosis. I also had fibroid tumors and a cyst on my ovary. He laid out the options for me and let me make the decision how to proceed. I chose to have a hysterectomy (3 weeks ago) and I feel great!
I guess what I would like to share about Dr. Jewell is that he explains exactly what's going on for you medically, what the prognosis or outcomes are, he gives you options, he doesn't push you to do a certain treatment when you're not comfortable with it, he lets you proceed at your own speed, and he is a GREAT surgeon! My family and I are very thankful to Dr. Khamvongsa, for his caring, and comforting help during my teen-daughter pregnancy, thanks to his experience and cares my granddaughter came to this world 4 weeks early but strong and healthy, and my daughter had a very good painless c-section. In 48 hours both of them were at home healthy and happy.
Two years ago Dr. Khamvongsa remove me a 11 cm. cyst via Laparoscopic surgery he explained to my husband and I the pros and cons, remained positive the entire time, and spent all the necessary time with us until he knew we were comfortable with the situation, he always remembers my name and medical history without ever looking at the records. He is top notch and a God send as a doctor, who really cares about his patients by treating them like human beings.

Dr. Gluck is the best doctor I have ever had. He cares deeply about the well being of all his patients. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. I highly recommend him.
I care for Dr Brown's patients at the hospital. He is an excellent and very competent surgeon and just as nice of a person. His patients adore him and his surgery outcomes are good. He does some extensive and radical surgeries on many very scared patients. He is very caring to patients and their families. He gives explanations about the surgery and the possibilties that are involved. I would let him perform surgery on my family or myself if needed.

Dr. Danny Neal is one of the best doctors I have ever been too! I highly recommend him. He is very funny and kind; he is also great with children.
I had heard only good things about Dr. Neal before I went to go see him, and when I did, I was highly impressed by his manor and knowledge.
Thanks to Dr. Neal and his encouragement to get a ultrasound and biopsy (despite other doctors' saying the enlargement to my neck and thyroid was nothing and my symptoms were due to stress) I was finally diagnosed with Grave's Disease. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be on my way to recovering from an advanced case of Grave's.

Dr. Safa is an amazing doctor. He was named one of the top doctors in Washingtonian Magazine in 2008.
My mother is the one who recommended I see Dr. Safa, and she was right to send me to such a great endocrinologist.
He is very understanding and is constantly willing to help his patients with whatever questions they have.
Dr. Safa specializes in diabetes but takes care of all endocrine diseases.
You will more then likely see one of his 2 NPs, but if you ask to see him his staff will make sure you do asap.

I had a Rhinoplasty with Dr. Clevens a few months ago. I am so happy with the results! I can finally breathe out of my nose!!!!! But also the hump I used to have on the bridge of my nose is gone forever. My nose looks perfect. My only complaint is that I did not have the surgery sooner.I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Holeman is an incredible person and doctor. He makes every visit with him positive. I had Dr. Holeman for both of my children and their were days during my pregnancy that I was very sad and depressed, but I would leave his office feeling renewed and hopeful. God had definitely annointed him with an amazing gift as person and a doctor. Both were C-Section and you can barely tell I had the procedure.

Dr. Hall is extremely patien and understanding. I recently became pregenant and there were so many things that I was unaware of. Dr.Hall actually sits down and listen to questions that I have and she makes sure that I have a full understanding of everything that is taking place. Not often you can go to a Doctor's office and say that you are ok to go get a check up or even see the Doctor. Being under the care of Dr.Hall I can truely say that I do not have a problem going to my appointments. There have been some ups and downs throughout my pregnancy and she has made sure that any decisions that she has made is not only the best for me but it is also the best for my unborn child. She takes the time to explain anything to my other half if he has questions also. I HIGHLY recommend ANYONE of any age that would need a OBGYN to take the time out to visit Dr.Hal.. Dr Chi is caring, compassionate, highly-skilled, and very patient when explaining complex medical issues. He was so kind to my husband who was very worried when i was diagnosed w ovarian cancer stage 2c. My recent surgery went extremely well, and i feel very hopeful about eradicating any remnants of cancer from my body. I felt extremely well attended to by Dr Chi, his associte Dr Diaz, and the entire nursing staff of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. It's not easy becoming a "cancer patient" virtually overnight, but much of my fear was assuaged due to the calm and caring demeanor of Dr Chi and his team.

I have been with Dr.Abbas since 2001 when told i had cervical cancer,at that time i was 20 weeks pregnant with my now 6 year old son.I had changed doctors and went with a local one LAST YEAR a move i now wish i would have never done,but it was like going back home from the minute i walked back thru his doors.Dr.Abbas and his staff are the greatest.The treatment,talks and guidance they give are the best.THANK YOU ALL AT DR.ABBAS' OFFICE FOR ME STILL BEING HERE AND MY SON'S LIFE WITHOUT U ALL WE WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY.

THIS DR. IS FABULOUS!! I WENT TO HIM IN TEARS WHEN
MY REGULAR GYN TOLD ME I HAD PRE-CANCEROUS CELLS. HE CALMED ME DOWN, MADE SOME JOKES, AND REASSURED ME I WAS GOING TO BE O.K. 2 YEARS
LATER, I AM BACK TO MY REGULAR GYN. IF I NEED ANOTHER ONCOLOGY/GYN HE'S MY GUY. MAY GOD
