I only saw Dr. Kornblum twice, but was very happy with his care, and very impressed with his knowledge. I was sent for a surgery evaluation of my neck, and he was very up front that he didn't think my neck was at the point that surgery was the best option. Perhaps I'm a cynic, but I believe that most doctors these days always recommend surgery if you're sent for a surgery consult ($$$). So, in a nutshell, I found him smart, honest, and personable.

I recommend this doctor because he was very easy to talk to. Answered all my questions. Was very supportive and close to home. I am very thankful to have such a wonderful doctor to take the time to answer all my questions and concerns.
I have had Dr. Wilson as my ob/gyn for over 20 years. He is one of, if not the most, compassionate physician I have ever had. He truly cares for and about his patients. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, Dr. Wilson called me at home and we talked for almost an hour. When I had my hysterectomy, he sat next to me in the operating room and held my hand while the anesthesiologist put me to sleep. I am a healthcare professional, have worked in hospitals for over 20 years and believe me, there are not many out there as wonderful as Dr. Lanny Wilson. His office staff is professional and caring and although Dr. Wilson does not accept insurance assignments for routine visits, the billing staff goes out of their way to assist you however they can when you require more detailed services. Thank you Lord, for Dr. Wilson.

Dr. Lyons is the best doctor I have ever seen. After seeing eight other specialist I was getting ready to just give up. I tried onemore time to get the medical care I needed. Dr. Lyons took time to listen to what I was saying, took me seriously.
We decided to go in for exploratory surgery, low and behold I had tumors on the inside and outside of my overies. Dr. Lyons was very honest, caring, and very open.
The second surgery I backed out at the last minute all ready to go in with my gown on. The nurse asked if I could stay long enough for the Doctor to talk with me. I did stay as Dr. Lyons walked into the room he sat beside me on the bed and told me that it was important that I have this surgery, the tumors would become cancer at anytime and he was concerned that if I walked out I wouldn't be back.
I did call that same week, the next week I was in surgery at 25 scared.
My point is, Dr. Lyons doesn't treat people like other Doctors, rather he treats eveyone with hope, ... [More..]

Dr. Soper has treated me this year for stage 1c ovarian cancer. He is so wonderful. I feel that with God's help he is my only hope for cure. I don't feel like I could be in any better hands. He also took care of my cousin 30 years ago for a malignant molar pregnancy and not only did she survive, she has had 2 children and has been cancer free ever since. He is absolutely the physician to go to for any ob/gyn cancer. He and his staff are the most compasionate people I have ever met. I could not do this without them. Sherry Baker

Sadly for the patients, Dr. Demoise has moved on in his career. I wanted to write this because Dr. Demoise was by far the best doctor; he was consiencous, caring and extremely intellegent. I am convinced that Dr. Demoise in many ways saved our life. If Dr. Demoise reads this I want to thank him and wish him and his family the best. Hopefully we will find a doctor of such high quality.

Wonderful man, excellent Dr. Is very kind, caring and a decent human being. I have gone to him for 9 years now. Even when we moved out of the area I made the drive back for my visits.
I suffer from Endometriosis and PCOS. Without his expertise I wouldn't have my other 3 children. I had actually been told that after my first I would never have another child.
After each of my surgeries he'd take the time to not only come and talk to me in recovery but also tell my husband/family how things went.
In my experience, his office staff you must be careful with. If you cancel an appt get the name and document the time you called. They have put me down numerous times as not showing up when I had rescheduled weeks before my appt! He has a high turnover of staff too! Yet, some ladies have been there for years that work in billing etc. I have had some people in his staff be very rude and not call in medication refills etc and have to call back a few times, yet next time I go back that person... My husband and I had been having a hard time getting pregnant on our own and the other doctors we went to see never even looked into it. One visit to Dr. Shibley determined that I had a cyst the size of an orange on my ovary. He got me in as soon as he could to have it removed. Once removed it took very little time to get pregnant(with some assistance the other doctors wouldn't give). During my pregnancy I had some minor complications and he answered every question my husband and I had. Just over a month ago, he delivered my daughter via c-section and it was quick and pain-free. During previous visits to the hospital, all the nurses said he is one of the best at c-sections and highly recommended I have him do it. In addition to his impecable skills, he is very personable and cares about his patients. He also has a great sense of humor to help his patients relax during exams and procedures.

When it became evident that I was going to need surgery, I felt it best to find another Dr. eventhough I had been with my current Dr. for several years. I just wasn't confident with him regarding surgery. I began the search and spoke with several Drs. I selected Dr. Guidice because after speaking with him I liked his manner...friendly, unrushed, and felt secure that he would work with me to explore other options or perform surgery if needed. I also liked the fact that he works in the Capital Women's Care practice, as I felt a practice was more up to date on info than a singular Dr. might be. I did have a TAH in June 08. I came home within two days. I healed wonderfully and I never took a pain med. Dr. Giudice was and is an excellent Dr and surgeon. I recommend him to any sister in MD.

I would recommend this doctor because he is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He was my second opinion comtemplating my decision to have a hysterectomy because of an enlarged uterus. I was very pleased with his overall diagnois and the manner in which he proposed my options. He took his time to explain to me step by step what would be done, how and why. My surgery went well and so did my recovery. His bedside manner, professionalism, and his down to earth sincere and at times humrous attitude, made me feel quite comfortable from the time of diagnosis until after the last post-op appointment. His medical staff is also friendly, courtesy and diligent. Great doctor!

Dr. Wininger has been my OB/GYN for 10 years. He is a very gifted doctor and surgeon and is hugely involved with clinical trials in womans health. Words cannot describe how much I respect, trust and appreciate this person. He took such wonderful care of me during all of my pregnancies, my heartbreaking losses and surgeries. Dr. Wininger is truely devoted to his patients and his profession. He is warm, friendly and very straight forward. He has even taken the time on many occasions to call my home just to check in and make sure all was well during my many recoveries. To me, that says a lot and goes a long way.
I cannot say enough about Dr. Carlson. It was by chance that he ended up being my physician, it was truly a blessing. I have been a patient of his since July of 2008, when I was expecting my first child. We had been seeing another Dr. in the office and she was going to be on maternity leave so we choose Dr. Carlson. My husband and I both couldn't have been happier with the care we received. We had a very long delivery with some complications. Dr. Carlson was not only professional but very personable too. He stayed with us during the last 3 hours of my labor and did a great job reassuring my husband when we had some complications. I am a nurse and felt that the care we received both in the office and during the delivery was outstanding. He not only spoke on my level but also made sure my husband was informed also. We would recommend him to anyone who is wanting a Dr. that truly cares about his patients. His nurse is also very good.

I totally recommend this doctor. I am 23 and just delivered my first baby, a son, via waterbirth. He is the only doctor I could find who would consider my request. His staff is wonderful and always inquired as to how I felt and how I was doing. He was very understanding that I wanted to avoid as many interventions as I could and allowed me to progress as naturally as possible through a 17 hour labor. Also, he was very helpful through a long grueling 1+ hour pushing phase. Though he is not my regular GYN, I will definitely choose him again when I deliver any subsequent children.

I have been going to Dr. Mirmanesh for over 3 years. After going with me to one vists a couple years ago, my wife switched to him for her doc as well. He is awesome: caring and smart. Takes the time to learn what's wrong from your perspective, then interprets that with the proper tests to confirm what's wrong. I highly recomend him.
