Shes a warm, caring person that knows her stuff. She listens and thinks before giving answers to your questions. She is up to date on medical procedures and the side effects. She has a calming tone to her voice that is reassuring. We are lucky to have her up here.
Dr Copeland is a gift from GOD! HE stepped in on a long drawn out case and helped my daughter find relief like she had not known for years. After that, he said, it doesn't skip a generation and asked to see me. He Performed a complete hysterectomy and ALOT of CLEAN UP WORK. Shorty after I got deathly ill (unrelated) but Dr C. followed me through. I spent many Friday nights sleeping on an exam table waiting to see him after patients. He diagnosed me wit a systemic infection and I was told I was a day or 2 from organ failure! The ERs had just kept sending me home. GOD BLESS Dr. Copeland. My stories could go on and on.... I sent refereals and once even drug him in on a night off to see a new patient...he saved her live too. WE ALL LOVE YOU, JACK! Give Mr's my best!!! She was a dear lady to spend so many unpaid Friday evenings with me waiting for you. Blessings, Shannon

Dr Peters truly is remarkable...he is the only urologist I have ever seen or Doctor for that matter that could figure out what and where my chronic Pelvic pain was coming from. I may never be perfect because of the long and complicated time I have had trying to get help over the years, but with him I saw and felt hope. The Womans Center at Beaumont Hospital is completely unique in the medical treatment world. They treat and look at the WHOLE person. You can get medical treatment, PT and other intergrative treatments all in one spot. Its amazing....I cross states to get there to go for treatment. It is the only thing that has helped my pain, I only wish it was closer:(
Dr Peters is also very approachable and nice, so is the rest of his staff. Highly recommend....

Dr. Henry J. Goolsby, III, previously in Tennessee, is now practicing medical oncology & hematology in Lake Charles, LA. While in the process of developing a state of the art facility with patient care and comfort in mind he was awarded the 2010 HOPE Award for Best Facility in the nation for small practices. Had a LAVH done. She was very informative, caring, made you feel comfortable, very trustworthy. She would spend alot of time with you, answer your questions till you understood. Her care was above and beyond that I never experianced before.
Dr Stewart is an OB/GYN. He recently preformed a total hysterectomy on me. He treated me with patience and kindness through this whole tramatic event, knowing the right time to be empathatic and the right time to have a sense of humor. I have had 5 other abdominal surgeries, all with different doctors, and was never treated with this much compassion. Dr Stewart took his time during surgery to avoid having to open my stomach again (even with all the challanges my scar tissue presented to him) he was persistant and caring enough that i now have laparoscopic incisions healing instead of the alternative. I would recommend him to anyone that needs that little extra kindness during thier treatment.
I LOVE Dr. Goldfarb! He has been my OB/GYN for almost 10 years! He is AWESOME! He took over during my pregnancy when this other stupid doctor (I won't name HER), couldn't tell me why I kept bleeding. He checked me out, diagnosed the problem, put me on bed rest and delivered a healthy baby boy in August, 2001. He's nice, funny, he cares & tells you the truth, what more could you ask for...he's also not hard on the eyes!
Dr Murphy was recommended to me by my cousin who had ovarian cancer. I also was having problems with ovarian cysts, and eventually had them out by his surgery. He has great bedside manner , and takes an interest in your overall health. I am so happy to have found him , since my other doctor retired after my children. I also wish he was a GP doctor, as he is very knowledgable of womens health.

I highly recommend Dr. Niles Choper for anyone who is looking for a gynecologist who truly cares about his patients! Dr. Choper is very thorough and really listens to you when you come to him. His office staff is extremely pleasant and it is easy to make an appointment to see him. Dr. Choper also has a wonderful bedside manner and it is very easy to talk to him, which is very important in the field of gynecology... sometimes questions can be embarassing, but he really puts you at ease. If you are looking for an experienced, compassionate gyn, Dr. Niles is the answer!

I highly recommend Dr. Keith Preis for anyone who needs a wonderful neurologist! Dr. Preis is one of those doctors who really takes the time to get to know his patients, thoroughly reviews histories, looks at all prior test results, asks questions... In addition, he is highly experienced in performing and interpreting necessary neurological tests. He doesn't just glance at the chart and talk to you for 5 minutes - he really gets to the bottom of things! Once he has a diagnosis, he will approach treatment from several different angles, not just write a prescription and off you go... He is very determined to make his patients feel well again and works diligently with his patients to achieve this goal!

I have been a patient of Dr Abbott's for since the late 1980's. He is a very kind, gentle but very open & honest doctor. He listens and is always very up to date on current meds, trends & insurance rules & guidelines. His staff is # 1 & is always willing to answer questions & help. And they return phone calls!
He did my hyst and recommended another dr for when I needed to have my gall bladder removed. I knew that whoever he recommended would be just as great as he is!
You will not go wrong on becoming his patient!

When I had a student, in speech and language therapy, who was presenting signs of airway blockage and was constantly falling asleep, I suggested that the parent take him to the audiology group. The first ORL that saw them gave them no treatment and no explanation except "he should get more sleep at night".
I sent them, then, to Sharon Gibson, as I had seen great results with her work with other children. She immediately had the child fitted with an apnea monitor and scheduled surgery to remove structures in his oral cavity that were blocking breathing when he slept and even when he lowered his chin. The mother was SO greatful that this doctor "knew right away what to do", she has never stopped talking about it. Dr Gibson is very knowledgeable, with a great bed/chair side manner (per parent report). If you live anywhere near her and need pediatric ear, nose and throat help, I would highly recommend her.
I live in Northern VIrginia and have seen many large high profile practices, but did not find comfort in my medical care until I switched my healthcare to Dr. Kil. When I started seeing him all I wanted was for my husband and I to start a family. Dr. Kil informed me that if I were patient and we followed the path that he laid out for me that it would come in time. He said it may involve my seeing other doctors outside of the practice but at the end it would be he and I..no matter what he would be my doctor.
My twins are now over 2 years old and everything he told me was true. I had to see some specialists, but I followed his path and guidance and he delivered my babies and I am forever gratful to him.
His practice from day one was extremley accomodating, understanding and compassionate.
If anyone thinks that they are going into any medical practice and never have an appointment moved, rescheduled and billing issue or just encounter someone having a bad day then I feel so... [More..]

I highly recommend Dr. Judith Hidalgo-Ahmed, she is a great physician, takes time to explain and spends a lot of time with her patients, her medical knowledge is current and she made me feel very comfortable, I have referred several of my friends to her and all of them have had a very good experience seeing her.

Dr. DiCoby is an amazing compassionate doctor when it comes to women's medical needs. She did my hysterectomy including tubes and ovaries. Her bedside manner is excellent and she makes you think your her only patient when you see her and she doesn't rush you at all! She will tell you what she knows will work for you and if you have a question she can't give you a complete answer for she'll find it out.
Even after a second opinion, I went back to her and she was great!
She is located in the far northern area of the state of NY however, but worth the drive up there.
When I was 16 I was told I had some abnormalities with my female organs and that was a rather overwhelming realization to grasp at that age. Doctor after doctor failed to give me answers or solutions and I became increasingly discouraged. I usually left the doctors appointments in pain and emotionally scarred.
Around my 21st birthday my mom informed me that she had found Dr. Lyons' website and it sounded promising. The first meeting with him was a brand new experience. He provided straightforward information about my condition and the process used to correct it. He gave me the insight I had been hoping for. He informed me that I had a condition called MRKH syndrome and that he could use minimally invasive surgery to correct it. This was a relief because the only other surgery I had heard about was incredibly gruesome and painful and not mention it was guaranteed to work.

I don't have a lot to say except that doctor siegel has given me a my quality of life back. I have breast cancer and was in bed for almost a year when it spread to my bone. I since have had both of my hips fixed. I can drive, play with my grand kids and live a very quality life and most important I can get out of my house without relying on others.
Dr. French has been a wealth of information through my struggles with heavy, painful, and irregular periods. He answered all of my questions and provided me with all of my options. Through the diagnosis of endometriosis which we treated with laser surgery and added an ablation for the heavy periods (I was already finished with childbearing) and the discovery of varicose veins during the procedure, he continued to support my decisions and wishes. I ultimately ended up with a hysterectomy that included the removal of my cervix and bad ovary. At the time I'm writing this recommendation I'm almost 3 weeks post-op and I feel great! I'm walking 3+ miles a day and well on my way to running again. Thanks Dr. French for giving me a pain-free life back!
After 3 kids and a 100 lb weight loss I had a horrible "inner tube" of skin around my belly . I saw Dr Placik for a tummy tuck and I am thrilled with the results! I am once again confident and satisfied with my body. The staff at Associated Plastic Surgeons was supportive thru the whole process and Dr Placik is one of the best doctors I have ever had! He really took the time to explain the procedure to me and listened to all my questions and concerns. I will definitely return to him in the future if I desire any other "improvements" and I will definitely refer him to all my family and friends!
