Dr. Peters has helped our family through a few years of very difficult medical problems. We found him after one year of being told by various doctors that a particular problem was "in your head". He listened carefully and did a thorough exam, and ended up diagnosing the problem - and with his care it was cleared up in a month. He is thorough, respectful, listens carefully, and very knowledgeable. We feel very lucky to have him as our family doctor and he has definitely earned our trust - he is terrific!
Dr. Albee is amazing in every way. He is a genius with his work. He has helped me so much over the years. Dr. Albee is one of the few Endometriosis Specialists in the country. He took the time with me during my first appointment 9 years ago and spent 2 hours talking and listening. He did operate on me and found Endometriosis. He excised it all. I did have an additional surgery two years later for adhesions, however, there was no endo whatsoever.
You will not go wrong with Dr. Albee.

I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. However, later on the same day, I had bleeding. I called Greater New Haven OBGYN to make an appointment. Dr. Moscarelli who happened to be in the office that day instructed the nurse to get me started with an HCG blood test. Later, he called me personally to ask about my condition. Two days later, I called to find out the results of 2nd blood test. He called me back and spoke to me personally about my condition. I am very pleased with the personal approach of Dr. Moscarelli. My previous doctors let the nurses relay their messages. I will see Dr. Moscarelli again as my primary OBGYN.

I would most definitely recommend Dr. Muenzer! I have had 3 OB/GYNs in my life and I have to say that Dr. Muenzer is by far THE best! I have 4 children; he delivered the last and has been my Dr for about 5 years now. He is very knowledgeable and personalable. He is so easy to talk to you - you really can talk to him just about anything.
When I had my son (by c-sect) and the baby had to stay a few days longer at the hospital, Dr. Muenzer came by every day to just sit and talk. He made me feel as though he was coming for a visit as a friend. Another time I was going in for surgery and the OR was backed up, he came down and sat with my husband and I for about 40 minutes, just talking and making us feel like we were all old friends.
Unlike other Doctors, I feel that Dr Muenzer truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to make you feel comfortable with him and any decisions that you have to make. I have never had to wait for a call or an answer to a question and I ... [More..]

Dr. Heimburger is awesome! I have been to so many gynecologists who don't address issues that are brought up during the routine exam. This was not the case with Dr. Heimburger! In fact, he talked to me for quite a while before he even did the exam. I appreciated this because it gave me the chance to talk to him about some of the issues I was having. He took his time and explained in great detail how things work -and what he suspected may be happening. Additionally, we talked about the possible treatment options based on symptoms and diagnosis. He LISTENS and will admit that since he is a man there is no way for him to relate to what women go through, but he shares his experiences with other patients to reassure that feelings of this sort are normal and other women experience them too. He is a life saver! I cannot say enough great things about him! I met Dr. Swor getting a second opinion on my prolapse issues. I loved the office staff, he was very knowledgeable, caring and answered all of my questions. He decided the lash procedure was the best for me and I recently had it done and it so far has been the best thing I have done. The office staff also rushed me in before my insurance changed. Teri, was so awesome, she works miracles. It really feels like they care. I would highly recommend Dr. Swor.

DR. NUTT ALWAYS TAKES HIS TIME WITH ME AND ANSWERS ALL QUESTIONS THAT I HAVE. HE TRIES CONSERVATIVE APPROACHES FIRST THEN IF THAT DOSEN'T SUCCEED, HE EXPLAINS WHAT SURGICAL OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
HE DOSEN'T PRESSURE ME INTO ANY DECISIONS BUT GIVES ME THE FACTS, PROS, AND CONS AND GIVES ME TIME TO THINK ABOUT WHAT I WANT TO DO. HE IS SUPPORTIVE AND COMFORTING AND APPEARS TO UNDERSTAND MY APPREHENSIONS.

Kelly Manahan is the BEST at what she does in all of Indiana. Even if you have to travel, GET TO HER. Not only has she received several awards for her research and teaching, Kelly is a warm, compassionate, caring and spirtual individual who treats each patient as an individual. At office visits she will spend as much time with you as needed. If needed, she will be your shoulder to cry on, your counselor and your friend. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at Stage IIIC. I would not be alive today if I hadn't received the best possible treatment available!
If you have ovarian cancer, Dr. Manahan MUST be in your life. You will not regret it!.

Dr. DeGeest is the Director of the Holden Cancer Center in Iowa City , IA. He is also a professor the the University of Iowa, Gynecology/Oncology Department.
He is extremely skilled and comes highly recommended among his peers. He explains each and every detail of your course of treatment so you fully understand what is ahead of you. He performed my total hysterectomy and oopherectomy for Stage 1B, Grade 2 Endometrial cancer. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else, in my mind he is the best.

Dr. Williams specializes in menopause. He is very friendly and knowlegable. He performed a hysterectomy and bladder repair for me. He did an excellent job of explaining the procedure beforehand. I had excellent pain control afterwards. He is very informed about female hormones. I think he is great and would recommend him for any woman nearing menopause.

I have been a patient of Dr. Whitaker's for several years. He is the best! He is truly a great doctor. Although, he has relocated to a new office. His office staff leave much to be desired. If you make an appointment, you should call before you go and make sure that he is in. I have drove 55 miles to an appointment for them to tell me they "tried" to call and tell me he had an emergency c-section. I understand emergencys (God knows babies can't wait!) but the staff were very short and inconsiderate. This SAME exact thing happened to my mother 6 months ago. She drove 50+ miles to be told he wasn't going to be in. Also- in the midst of everything, I went to retrieve my records only to find out that they did not have them. They were packed in storage in Atlanta!!!! In all reality, the attitude of the office staff is what has turned me away from Dr. Whitaker. So, IF you get to see him (and get past the office), HE is a wonderful doctor. I just hate that his staff is his enemy... [More..]

I was recently diagnosed with a form of uterine cancer that is relatively rare and was referred to Dr. Bender by my gyn. He and his entire staff were all very helpful and encouraging. He took the time to answer any and all questions we had, and provided us with a lot of good information. It was encouraging to know that even tho I have a rare cancer it is something that he had seen and treated quite often. He is a very caring individual and wants only the best for his patients.

Dr. Van Horn is a superb and caring physician. She offers the same level of care and expertise to me (a post-hysterectomy menopausal woman) and to my young children. I feel that we are all receiving top-notch care.
The others in her office all share her compassion.
She is extremely knowledgeable, and is able to share her knowledge in a way that all will understand. I am pleased to recommend her.

Dr. Murphy is one of the nicest,most compassionate people I have ever met. A man who truly cares about his patients. Dr. Murphy has gone above and beyond the call of duty when dealing with me about my surgery. He has spent a great deal of time with me and my husband explaining and reassuring us that everything would turn out ok (which so far it has). On 8/14/07 Dr. Murphy performed a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy and removed both ovaries due to a large (7CM) mass that was growing on my right ovary. From day 1 Dr. Murphy was comforting, friendly, and, dilegent about my care, always giving me as much time as needed to have all my questions and fears answered. In other words Dr Joseph Murphy is a Royal "Mensch" I highly recommend Dr. Joseph Murphy as the ob/gyn of the year!

Dr. Dayton is like talking to a good friend. I trust her wholeheartedly. Dr. Dayton performed my second myemectomy and it was a success.
I would recommend her to any woman especially if she is experiencing fibroids, cysts, or any other type of female issues.
