Dr Yamaki and her team has been my GYN for a number of years. I can always count on the highest level of care from her and her staff. They are always cheerful, caring, professional, and up-to-date on the latest in the gynecological field. Dr Yamaki was also my surgeon for my recent hysterectomy. She and her staff were a great help and support and comfort to me pre-op when some people close to me insisted that the hysterectomy was the wrong thing to do. I had support of my friends, coworkers, and some family members, but not of many of the people closest to me. Dr Yamaki took the time to explain to my husband why it was medically necessary and expedient. She helped me keep a positive attitude in the face of much negativity. She is a wonderful, highly educated, and trusted physician. In my opinion, THE BEST! I am thankful for her and her team of dedicated and caring professionals!

Dr. Penalver specializes in pelvic cancer. My entire experience was incredible. His office staff is kind, caring and professional as our the other doctors that cover for him when he is not on call. He took the time to speak with me about my options and even made a recommendation for a plastic surgeon when I asked for one. When I had a complication, he was immediately available to resolve the situation, including leaving me his cell phone and calling me in my hospital room to check on me DAILY from his family vacation in Disney. I have referred others to him and they have had similar experiences. In addition to his kind, caring attitude -- he is very knowledge about pelvic cancers and is an outstanding surgeon.

I am a physical therapist and receive many referrals from this physician. What strikes me most is every single patient coming from this doctor talks about how caring and compassionate she is. These patients have usually seen many physicians in the past for treatment of pelvic pain -without relief. Dr. Mahagan's patients tell me they now have hope. She provides patients with thorough explanations and offers them treatment options no one else has.

Dr. Phibbs has saved my life two times over the last 8 years. I had a partial hysterectomy after having an 8 pound tumor develop on one of my ovaries, I was very, very ill. He saved my life, I trust him completely. I later had a total hysterectomy because of another small tumor that he caught very early. He let me make the decision as to what I wanted to do, whether a total or just the tumor removed. I recomend him VERY highly to anyone with cancer related issues or just as a OBGYN. He is great.

Dr. Charles Leland is an excellent Ob/gyn. He is a christian doctor who listens to all you have to say. He is very friendly and upbeat. He was very thorough with me before my hysterectomy checking out any suggestions or fears that I might have had. He did an extra exam before surgery to double check to see if I could have a vaginal extraction, but I wasn't able due to the placement of the organs inside. Before my surgery, I asked if he would pray with me. He was happy to which eased my fears alot. I had a hysterectomy with my ovaries and cervix left. He did a biopsy during surgery to make sure that my ovaries were okay to leave. I would go back to him in a heart beat.

I recently had a hysterectomy and it was such a smooth recovery and experience for me. I felt back to normal after the second day. Of course, I avoided all heavy lifting. I am back to work after three weeks.

Dr. Hicks is a one of a kind Dr. especially for his field. He was my Gynocologic Oncologist. I've never met a Dr. before that had the bedside manners he did, he was very good at explaining some very complex problems in terms my hubby and I could understand. He was able to draw pictures and review details and options available. He encouraged questions with a positive friendly attitude that made both of us feel comfortable. He also performed a radical hysterectomy without issue! In my 5 days in the hospital he came back and checked on me frequently and made sure I was well taken care of! I definately don't want cancer again, but I'd love to see this kind of Dr. again!

Dr. Viswanathan WAS my Internist when we lived in Massachusetts. She is by far the best doctor I have had to date. She has the best bedside manner and is so intellegent. She honestly cares for her patients and even used to phone in the evenings to check on me when I was ill.
She diagnosed many diseases and refered me to the best doctors when she couldn't help me.
The only bad part is that when we moved out of state, i couldn't see her again.

Dr Feldman was recommended to me by my Primary Care Physician after I had an abnormal PAP. When I met him, I was greeted with kindess yet extreme professionalism. He did a physical and then met with me in his office for nearly an hour. I asked every question that I and my family had come up with regarding my diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis. In addition, being a pragmatic patient, he recognized that and answered all my questions cut and dry without any beating around the proverbial bush. Along with being my regular Gynocologist he is also my Surgeon. He was very attentive to my anxiety and yet MORE questions and came to examine me 2 or 3 times a day while I was in the hospital. A few week after surgery I experienced a rare complication due to the flu and while caring for me AGAIN, Dr Feldman was sympathetic, empathetic, attentive and knowledgeable. I recommend Dr Feldman to ANY woman in Indiana in need of an OB/GYN and I pray he is still in practice once my daughter reaches "... [More..]

Dr. Capelle was recommended to me by my daughter when I needed a new GYN. I went into see her for my annual exam and when it was determined that I did indeed need a complete hysterectomy I scheduled with her. Dr. Capelle went over all of my options with me and explained all of the possible complications as well as the plus side of this operation. The day of my surgery Dr. Capelle was very helpful at putting me at ease and asked once again if I had any questions before my surgery. After I was back into my room she came by and talked with me and asked if I had any concerns and stated that if I needed anything to call. When I was released she stated that someone would call and give me the results from the pathology. I was expecting a call from her nurse but Dr. Capelle called me herself with the wonderful news that all was well. I have never had a physician make a personal call to me about anything. I highly recommend Dr. Ohanes Cholokian. He is a patient and caring doctor who listens to his patients concerns, questions and comments. He performed my hysterectomy in July 2006 and guided me through the whole process by easing my fears with his explanations of how the surgery would be performed and the steps leading up to the surgery. His staff is friendly and caring and treat you as an individual.

Dr. Eltabbakh was my doctor that performed my hysteroctomy. I am still under his care for treatment for endometriosis. He is a very patient doctor and very friendly. He is very thorough and takes every precautionary measure to ensure you are well. He is an excellent surgeon and comes highly recommended by Fletcher Allen Health Care. I have only heard positive feedback in regards to him.

Dr. Daniel Tobias is an OB/GYN oncologist at the Carol Simon Cancer Center in Morristown NJ. My regular OB/GYN asked him to come on to my case for a LAVH. He is very easy to talk with during consultation and examination. I am very happy to have him as my doctor since I will have to be checked every three months for now. His reassurance and calm approach is much appreciated at a time when fear is lurking in my thoughts. I now feel that I should stop worrying and get on with my life. Also, the Carol Simon Cancer Center has been most helpful during the past two months. Telephone calls were answered quickly and appointments were completed promptly.

Dr. May performed a vag. hysterectomy on me at Women and Babies Hospital of Lancaster, PA in October, 2006. She is so caring, attentive, informative, and a great listener. Dr. May, her staff, and Women & Babies Hospital of Lancaster, PA is a TOP-NOTCH, CARING group of professionals. What an INCREDIBLE group of women! I live in another state but chose to remain with this group because of my faith in Dr. May and I am so glad I did.

I was lucky to have found this doctor when I did. He is the best OB/GYN doctor that I have been treated by since needing an OB/GYN (over 25 years). All of his patients love him.
Doctor Collins has been doing this type of work for over 30 years as I recall.
Besides being a fantastic doctor, he is friendly, genuinely concerned and confident. He also finishes up or cleans up his work carefully (No huge, ugly, painful scars).

Dr. Collins performed my hysterectomy two years ago in a laproscopic procedure. I had an eight pound tumor on my uterus and it and my uterus were removed through 3 small incisions that are now almost invisible. My recovery time was only 4 weeks and I have been ecstatic with the results. In addition, Dr. Collins is incredibly compassionate and very easy to talk to...which is so important and rare these days.
