I have suffered with pelvic pain for years with no relief. I was referred to Dr. Garcini by a nurse in the Recovery room at Silver Cross Hospital. I had just had yet another unsuccessful surgery for my pain. I saw D. Garcini a week later and found him to be caring, sensitive, and most of all confident that he could help with my pain. A month later he did surgery for me and I have been pain free, since then. (other than post-op pain) At my follow-up visit he made me feel very comfortable, and explained everything to me. I would reccomend him to anyone.

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on 7/18/07.He is an experienced OB-GYN. At our first meeting he listened well.He has a great bedside manner.He took time to listen to all my complaints ,and answered all my questions. He stated that he was going to treat me the way he treated his own mother. He did the surgery bloodless. I only lost 100 cc of blood. This was so important to me because of my religious views. He and his staff were professional and courteous.I'm a RN with 24 years experience.I have worked with OB,s for over 10 years as a labor & delivery nurse. So I've seen OB DRS up close for along time. DR. John Lue gets rave reviews from me.!!!!.

Dr. Benjamin M. Schwartz is a Gynecologic Oncologist. He is very quiet, yet is very willing to answer any and all questions. I did feel much more comfortable after seeing him and having him explain what was going on. He did come very highly recommended to me, by others and online, and I am very happy I called his office for an appointment. I do feel my surgery could have been better explained to me, yet, that may be my fault for not asking enough questions. My surgery was on Aug. 1st and I truly believe he does excellent work. I had a TVH/BSO, I was off pain killers in 3 days and am healing very well.
I do feel his bedside manner left a little to be desired, yet sometimes in this busy world, I guess we can't have excellence and good bedside manner. I felt my dr/surgeon should have came in to see me at least the day after surgery to ask how I was doing and to explain what had been done to me and he didn't, no one did. This did disappoint me. Dr Pablo was very helpful with the problems I was having before I had my hysterectomy.He explained exactly what was going to happen to me,through my laproscopy and later for my hysterectomy.After years of pain and discomfort,he was the only doctor to actually listen to me.He answered all my questions,and had an excellent bedside manner,making sure I was doing ok and always smiling,trying to cheer me up.He basically held my hand through this entire ordeal.I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Cotes is the best doctor I have ever been to! I got pregnant with my son in Dec. 2005 and I had a tough pregnancy. In March my progestrone was extremely low. Everyone in my family thought that I was going to have a miscarriage. Doctor Cotes put me on medication and within 2 weeks my level was back up again! I went to the hospital several times throughout my pregnancy and he kept me all night for observation. Then August 11, 2007 about a month before my due date I started bleeding heavily, so I went in to the hospital. He found out that I had placenta previa, and kept me on complete bedrest at the hospital for 30 days until he thought I was able to deliver. at my 36 week point he took me to get an amino, which is where they insert the needle in my stomach and draw out some of the fluid around the baby and test it. Dr. Faraday has been my doctor for about 2 years. She briefly treated my mother before her death from lung cancer in 2004 and I was so impressed with her knowledge, caring and bedside manner, that I began to see her myself. No matter what issues I'm having, she seems to always find the simplest and quickest solution. Her practice is at GBMC. I highly recommend her!

I reccomend Dr. John Sanchez based on his excellence of practice as an OB-GYN. He has been what I have considered my Primary Doctor for the past 7 years. He not only deliverd my last 2 children but had concerns about my irregular bleeding which ultimately lead to my most recent surgery...a hysterectomy.
He is one of the most caring, friendly, and considerate doctor's I have had in my life!! He really sets aside the time for his patients so you don't feel rushed when you visit him. He encourages you to ask any questions you may have as you have.
I would HIGHLY reccomend him to anyone living in the general area. I even kept him as my doctor while living in another county and traveled just to keep him!

I worked with Dr. Castellana for a long time.
He is very dedicated to his patients, and passionate about his work. He is known to stay hours after to see his patients. He also does home visits for patients that are unable to come to the clinic.

Dr. Hechanova is very competent in his work. He loves children and is known to carry the child and just "get to know"him/her before he exams them.
He is very gentle , speaks very softly and is very caring.
He is known to work on a Sunday from his home to see a sick child. I highly recommed Dr. Hechanova.
If you like someone who is on the quiet side, will sit and talk to you regarding your concerns. Who is kind, compassionate and passionate about his work, then he is the one.
Soft talker, good listner and gentle hands, many woman feel intimidated to go to a male doctor, especially women from foreign countries, but with Dr. Marici, he makes you feel comfortable, and ease.
I've been a patient of Dr. Fleming's for the past 8 years. She delivered my son (by C-Section), and has been with me through 2 very difficult pregnancies. I've also had a complete hysterectomy. I have found Dr. Fleming to be extremely knowledgeable and honest, offering all viable options to help me make decisions. She takes her time with her patients to listen to concerns and answer questions. I have always received excellent service from her and her staff, and highly recommend her.

Dr. Sinervo was not only kind and patient in the office, he was totally focused on my questions before surgery. He was not rushed, and did not allow anything to interrupt his focus on ME. In surgery he had me position myself on the operating table to be sure that I was comfortable, and then he held my hand and talked to me as I was being put to sleep. He kept my husband reassured by providing periodic updates throughout the surgical procedure, and encouraged my husband to record the conversation after the procedure so I would know what was said. He provided a full detail of what he did, and why, as well as photographs.
During the recovery stage he continued to be responsive. When my husband called because I was suffering from severe nausea, he called back within just a few minutes. Even though it was very late on a saturday night.
Most importantly, Dr. Sinervo was able to fix me! I have suffered from chronic pain for 18 months now, since my hysterectomy for stage 4 endom... [More..]

I know there are many women out there looking for excellent fertility specialists and my experience with Dr. Janik has proven to be just that. She is very experienced, knowledgable, and skilled in her field. Dr. Janik performed my tubal reversal surgery which has proven to be a success ( I am due March 17, 2007). I became pregnant just 3 months after starting to try to conceive.
On an administrative note: My only caution would be to make sure you ask as many questions as possible about the total cost of the surgery including what qualifies as an additional procedure and what the additional costs might be so that you are prepared if there happens to be a surprise. Also, after your surgery, be sure to ask if there were additional procedures performed and get verification of what they were and how much you will be billed for them.
