About 7 years ago, I asked a friend who's also a physician at Duke (and the head of a department) if he knew any good gynecologists who also performed laparoscopies and had some familiarity with endometriosis, hysterectomies or other gynecological issues. He didn't know anyone personally, but given his position at Duke, he was able to ask doctors in maternal-fetal medicine, as well as one or two other docs he knew. I believe each person he asked came back with Dr. Sobolewski's name and highly recommending him.
I went to see him and have continued to see him ever since. I've had two ablations with him and, most recently, a hysterectomy and some intervention for endometriosis. This was a very difficult decision for me to make (hysterectomy) and literally took me years to get to that point. During that time, Dr. Sobolewski was understanding, informative and well versed in options other than hysterectomy. Dr. Penman performed my mastectomy back in 1995. She was wonderful! She is one of the most caring and patient doctors I have met. Every time I have an exam by a new doctor (moved to Virginia in 1997), they all say what wonderful results I have from the surgery. Thank you, Dr. Penman!

I was referred to this doctor, honestly I feel its the best thing that could have happened regauding my situation.
She is an ob/gyn. I met her for the first time yesterday and from the moment she entered the room I felt very at ease, she answered all my dumb questions with patience and explained everything so that I could understand. She addressed my husband like a human being insted of an inconvienance as others have done. She was warm and caring, but at the same time very professional.

I was very pleased to have been referred to Dr Al-Kunani by my PCP. I am a Medicaid/Aetna Better Health patient, and was worried I wouldn't get the best care. When I met her, my fears were put to rest... she is a very caring professional that will listen to your concerns and help you to feel better about your treatment options. I see her in the Hoffman Estates office, and have never waited too long for an appointment. The staff there is very helpful and friendly.
Specifically, I saw Dr Al-Kunani for complications that eventually led to a hysterectomy in my early 40's. I had been trying more conservative treatment options for a few years before finally considering surgery. I learned that she is very experienced and skilled at Da Vinci robot assisted Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, and knew immediately that I was fortunate to be under her care. The whole experience has been relatively uneventful and routine, and I credit her confidence and ability for that.

OMG....Dr. Bryant George is the "BEST" Nuero doctor ever. I have been seeking and trying to find him since 2010. If anyone has any information on where he is practicing please let me know via email at lmwms599@aol.com I've not been comfortable with any other doctors in reference to my problem.
Dr. Somani was recommended to me by my sister who has been her patient for >10 years. I needed advice regarding ongoing pelvic pain/endometriosis and hx of mother who died of ovarian cancer under the age of 50. I myself am 49 and my family doctor felt it was time for a total hysterectomy and BSO. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Somani from my very first appt. She went over options, her recommendations, answered all of my questions, actually asked what my greatest fear was about having this surgery. I finally proceeded with the Davinci surgery (a year later when I felt ready) as it seemed to have the least "down time". I am now 1 1/2 weeks postop and am very satisfied. Not only was she compassionate and patient, every medical person at Riverside Hospital was great. I have no complaints, no complications, no regrets.

I suggest Dr. Bostock as your OB/GYN because she cares and she does a good job. She has delivered 3 of my 4 children via c-section and did my tubal ligation. She has also performed my hysterectomy using the DaVinci method. Other OB/GYN's I have had did not care for how I was doing mentally as well as physically. She is thorough and she follows up. If I have concerns she addresses them immediately. She returns calls quickly and has the answers I need. She could improve on the way she talks to the hospital nurses. But, her brusk mannerism is part of what makes her a good Doctor. She is very to the point. I think Dr. Bostock is a wonderful OB/GYN!
I have been a patient of Dr. Fok for about 20 years. Recently I was diagnose with uterine prolapse, rectocele, and cystocele. I had surgery 7 weeks ago and feel great. Dr. Fok is very experienced and has performed many of these procedures. From knowing him for so many years, I had 100% faith in him. He also delivered both of my children. He is very professional and very personable. He is caring and I'm very thankful to have him be my physician.
I love this doctor. He is brilliant and gorgeous. I had both of my knees revised after another surgeon messed them up. He gave me my life back. I love doctor Siegel.

I am a career medical administrative professional, and I have met, known, and seen hundreds of physicians in my career. Dr. Oliver is HANDS DOWN the BEST physician I have ever met.
His genuine concern for is patients is palpable. He is never condescending or too busy to give you his full attention. He is extremely knowledgeable and always seeking the newest information to stay current with medical advances.
As another reviewer said - he is a third generation physician. He comes from the "old school" where physicians are honored to care for their patients and respect the trust we place in them.
