She was very courteous and compassionate and very upfront and thorough. She read the consent form word for word with me and answered any questions honestly. I was extremely pleased with her as my doctor for my surgery.
Doctor Defreitas is a great doctor. He takes time to listen to my concerns, and treats his patients with the same care he would his own wife. He performed my hysterectomy 5 months ago. I had numerous fibroids in my uterus. He fully explained the options that were available to me and then helped me make the decision that was best for me and my personal circumstances. He explains things fully, in a way the regular lay person can understand, never making you feel stupid (I have had doctors do that). He made himself available while I took the time to come to my decision, always speaking to me on the phone, and calling me back when he couldn't immediately come to the phone. Throughout my experience with Doctor Defreitas, he was everything I would want in a doctor. He was friendly, professional, experienced, funny when I needed it, and he completely put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Defreitas.
After more than two years of dealing with debilitating pain and extremely heavy bleeding during menstrual cycles with bleeding lasting 9-14 days and my regular doctor saying it was normal, just recommending OTC pain killers, I decided to seek another opinion. I decided to call the Women’s Health Group in Manhattan, Kansas because I felt they would be more knowledgeable since they were specialists in women’s health and because there were several doctors that I could choose from. After one simple test, the cause of my problems was determined and after discussing all my options Dr. Gros and I determined the best course of action for me was a hysterectomy. The care I received from Dr. Gros, The Women’s Health Group, and The Manhattan Surgical Center (where my surgery was performed) was impeccable. She is really smart, caring and patient. I had never been in the hospital except for the birth of my child so I was very afraid and apprehensive about having my hysterectomy. She let me make my own decision about keeping my ovaries. She answered all my questions but left the decision up to me. The day of the surgery she calmed my fears and everything went well. I did not have any complications during or after surgery thank God and I can't even see a scar. Each time during my doctor's appointments she is the same; always has a pleasant smile and is very respectful. What I like most is that she takes the time to listen and she treats you like you are her only patient. I feel comfortable discussing any health concerns or fears with her. I don't know of any improvement at this time I feel she needs.

I have been Dr. Greg's patient for over 8 years. She delivered my daughter Jacqueline. Dr. Greg is a wonderful caring physician who listens to her patients and does not disregard a complaint or symptom. She also has helped me through my other female problems and stuck with me. Even though at the end I thought I was going crazy myself. But she stayed with me and listened too all the symptoms, crying and pain. It seemed as if I would get a new symptom every few months and finally it all added up. She ordered a pelvic ultrasound and diagnosed me with adenomiosis. After my hysterectomy the pathology confirmed that she was corrrect. I wasn't crazy there was "something" and she stuck by me the whole way. While in the hospital she came to see me more than once day for about a week. She truly cares and has a relationship with her patients. I am blessed to have her as my physician.

I am recomending Dr. Mig to anyone who has womenly problems. He worked with me so much, he never gave up. Where most dr would quit Dr. Mig kept trying. He is happy, polite, and he always has time to talk to you, no matter how busy. He cares how you feel and always makes you smile. Dr. Mig knows his stuff, he tells you diffrent ways you can treat the problem and lets you decide which is best for you. I think Dr. Mig is a great Dr.
I absolutely love Dr. Jennifer Green, I have been a patient at her practice for over 6 years, and I have seen her for more than 4.5 years. She has a wonderful bedside manner. She was my OB through both of my pregnancies and has been the main surgeon during several gyn operations including my hysterectomy. She is a great OB, a wonderful surgeon, etc. I highly recommend her to anyone I know and don't know.

Dr. Ellington has been my doctor for 9 yrs now. She is a wonderful doctor. She delivered my daughter 8 yrs ago. Dr. Ellington is a very caring doctor. She takes her time with you in her office. She will take any of your questions and she will answer them so you can understand everything. Last year had surgery, everything normal. Two days later the the pathology showed cancer. Dr. Ellington called me, gave me all the info, told me she would call an oncologist surgeon for me. She called me back less than 5 minutes and I had an appointment with him the next day. She told me to call her if I had any questions- even over the weekend. She wasn't even on call. After surgery she called me at home to find out how I was doing and if I had any concerns. She goes way beyond what I ever dreamed a doctor would do. She's great! Her staff is also a great asset to her.

I went through a lot of different problems with my ovaries, periods, abnormal bleeding, and abnormal pap smears. Through it all Dr. Barrere was fantastic. He never seemed irritated with all my questions even when I called him at 11:00 at night. He was always understanding, patient, and comforting. I had been to other doctors for the same problems, and none of them seemed to be able to determine what was wrong with me.
When it came time to discuss other options, he brought my husband in and told us about different surgical options to help me. We decided a hysterectomy was best for me, and he encouraged me to get a second opinion, which I did.
Dr. Barrere performed by LAVH on 8.18.06, and the surgery went perfectly. I've had no problems since then, and would recommend Dr. B to anyone I know.

I have been going to this women for 20 years. She will take as much time as you need her to. To make you feel comfortable, she will answer all your questions regardless of how silly they may seem to you. she alway's has a smile on her face, she alway's rembers who you are and everything that is going on with you. YOu will never feel rushed she will spend as much time with you as you need no matter how many other patients she may have. she explains everything she is doing before she does it and she involes you in your care by giveing you all of your options good and bad and then helps you make a well informed decision. she has treated for all of my paps, birth control,peri menoupause, and she has helped me with depression and all sorts of issues that arose after my hsterectomy such as bladder issues, lack of desire ect. she is willing to use herbal products. and i think the best things about her are that she always jokes with me she always make me laugh and she always gives me a hug ... After years of putting it off, I finally had to get a hysterectomy to deal with large fibroids and excrutiating periods. The first time I met Dr. Haas, she came in the room with a big smile on her face and put me at ease right away.
She indicated to me that she would be able to do my hyster vaginally as opposed to having to cut me open, even though I had a large uterus and large fibroids. Through my research on the internet, I know that most doctors would not have had the skill to do that.
After the surgery, she told me that my case was a challenge but that she loves challenges and everything went fine. The only time I had some pain was when I first woke up, got some pain meds and never had an ounce of pain after that. I was in the hospital one night and felt almost completely normal three days later as opposed to feeling lousy for 6 weeks.

Dr. Burrell is a Gynecologic Oncologist. He treated me for Endometrial Cancer in 2006. The only treatment I received - based on the stage and grade of my particular cancer - has been a Total Hysterectomy with the Ovaries, Fallopian Tubes, Cervix and Appendix also removed. I highly recommend him.
He was extremely patient with all my questions and concerns and treated me as an individual - not a statistic. He is not extraordinarily outgoing; actually he has a rather quiet personality. He presents himself as a very caring and diligent surgeon. I continue to see Dr. Burrell on a regular basis for follow up care. His practice consists of a number of surgeons and they routinely review all the treatment plans of each patient. I found it comforting to know that my problems would be addressed by more than one doctor.

I saw Dr. Rolle in 2006 for severe menstrual bleeding. My PCP had told me that frequent, heavy periods were normal as a woman ages (I am only 35)! I went to Dr. Rolle for help because I was getting my period every 3 weeks and was stuck in my house for 2 days at a time. My periods were ruining my life!!! We did one round of Prometrium (which made me loopy and unable to care for my children) and then he talked to me about a hysterectomy. He knew I was done having children and between the heavy bleeding and uterine prolapse (which my PCP had missed), we felt that a hysterectomy was our best option. This man is an amazing surgeon! He is a truly nice man who treats his patients with kindness and respect. He even called my husband the day after my surgery to read him the riot act when I told him the my DH was not being very understanding.

Dr. Abramson is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon as well as a top-notch ear-nose-and throat 'otolaryngologist'. I had a septorhinoplasty with him in Dec. 2005 and love how my nose looks now. I also like the fact that I can breathe better, too. :) His office staff are always welcoming. Dr. Abramson himself is very open and friendly and very patient-oriented. I always leave appointments with him feeling like I am SO GLAD he's my doctor. His practice has much to offer also with an amazing skin care beauty spa. (I check up on the specials on their cool website at least monthly.) I'd recommend him to anyone in the Atlanta or north Georgia area.

I almost forgot about Dr. Timothey Whitney, I had a Bilateral Celft / lip Palate that he did unbelievable work on, he's isssssssss so amazing. My whole mouth was in an uproar and Dr. Whitney made me feel so good about me again!!!!!!Now i ask you, how can you beat that with a surgeon?????
Dr. Panzer is my young dauther's doctor who diagnosed her with Crohn's after several years of misdiagnosis by several other doctors. He is a caring, considerate doctor who takes his time with his patients and patiently explains all procedures, results, etc. He gained my daughter's trust which was a difficult task using his knowledge and concern.

Dr.McMillan practices at River Oaks in Jackson, MS and is a caring, knowledgeable doctor. She went "above & beyond" during my hysterectomy and post-care. She calls her patients routinely and is considered with their total health care. I never have to wait during scheduled appointments and they file promptly on my insurance.

ok, I was a patient of Dr. Timothy Whitney in Boston, Mass. for 10 yrs. I met him when he first started at Lahey Clinic, in Burlington, Mass. He and my family developed quiet a nice repore with each other. My son was just 1yrs old when i met him and I have to say Dr. Whitney basically took on my cause cause nobody else could. He saved me. My face was rapidly detorirating and Dr. Whitney did soooooooooo many surgeries to help me it was amazing. He and I developed a health patient/doctor friendship where we could be honest with each other and that helped alot. His operative and bedside manner also were amazing. He took the time out and really got to know the real me, no othe doctor has done that in my life, not even my parents. He moved to Seattle cause I do bellieve that Lahey Clinic was drawing as much blood from him as possible and he has a family and chid to look out for, so good for him.
