Dr Elizabeth Motyka genuinely cares about her patients and it shows. I feel very, very lucky to have found her. She's been loyal to me through many trials over the years with HRT prior to hysterectomy. Of note, she has a published book, THE RAPID RECOVERY HANDBOOK, which would be most helpful for those having surgery of any type but this has been especially useful for hysterectomy recovery. This book would be an excellent gift for anyone who cares about giving and receiving the best of care before, during, and after surgery.

I was unfortunately diagnosed with uterine fibroids in my early 20's. I listened to my GYN at the time , which was a very bad idea, and waited to have any surgical intervention . I consulted 3 surgeons on Long Island who were considered to be the best. They all would not agree to operate on me unless I signed a consent to have an emergency hysterectomy if needed during surgery. I was horrified and devastated because I was going to be married in a year and I have always wanted to be a mother. I absolutely would not sign this consent. So I began my search for another surgeon and consulted 3 more surgeons in Manhatten. From the moment I met Dr Bartsich I knew he was the one. He was professional and reassuring. He reassured me I would not have to sign any such consent and I would most definitely not need a hysterectomy. He has perfected this surgery and there is no one else I would trust. Dr. Moawad is very attentive and knowledgable. He takes time to talk to you and explain what is going on and what your options are. He is one of few in his field who has the additional training necessary to successfully excise endometriosis rather than use a laser.
I just finished my massage package here, my massages were incredible! I want to try out the other services they offer, I heard from my friend that their facials were good.
Dr. Hemphill was very thorough and helped me when no one else thought anything was wrong. Not only was the scar tissue and a cyst removed from my secum, she treated me like a queen. NO judgments or belittling. Dr. Hemphill is conservative but thorough. I recommended her to my three adult daughters and several friends who have similar symptoms. Dr. Hemphill is also very good fertility doctor.
I am a patient of Dr Leighton and am in the process of breast reconstruction after a dx of malignant ductal carcinoma.
I was devastated because I had lung cancer in 2003, and really could not believe that this was happening again.
Dr Leighton is confident,highly skilled and has a wonderful personality--he is efficient and has made me feel like there is "light at the end of the tunnel".
I had a bilateral mastectomy on Dec 11,2013 and actually look forward to my weekly visits to see him, and am so confident in his skill level.
He really uplifts my spirit everytime I see him and his caring and responsive staff. Kudos to this amazing doctor !
Dr Evani (my surgeon) recommended him but I had heard wonderful things about this man for years.

Dr. Rick Chotiner told me that my cataract surgery would be a 'walk in the park' and it was. What more can you ask of a physician than for him/her to keep their promises.. BR
From the first consultation till now, Dr. Alexander and his staff have been amazing. I was very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. They took away my nerves and answered all my crazy questions. A few words that come to mind about Dr. Alexander would be: Professional, Sincere, Intelligent, Skilled, Caring and mainly.. Experience! The out come of my surgery shows EXPERIENCE. (One of the main reason I chose Dr. Alexander).
Dr. Demarie is a caring, well informed doctor. He has been my doctor for over 10 years and has watched me diligently to be sure that I stay in good health. Currently he is working with me to get my diabetes under control and to take me off Metformin. He has worked with me to get my total cholesteral down to 101 and to get my weight down 25 pounds. We have moved, but I still drive an hour to see him.
I have been a patient of Dr. Cynthia Mace Motta for over 15 years and have always received caring, professional service. About 18 months ago, I started having spotting and Dr. Mace Motta watched me carefully for 18 months and at that time, through testing, determined that I had a polyp that needed removing. I had that done and it was diagnosed as cancerous. She referred me to a oncologist immediately and I had surgery. Because of her care and attention, the cancer was in Stage 1 and had not spread. I was able to have a complete hysterectomy and no chemo or radiation thanks to her persistence and attentiveness.
Dr. Munoz, is a caring, intelligent professional. He is very experienced and skilled in robotic surgery and recently preformed a complete hysterectomy on me. It was very successful and I am recovering well. He spents the time needed with each patient and never makes you feel rushed. That measn you some times have to wait for a couple of hours to get in for your appointments, but it is worth it. His staff is also very caring and competent. Other doctors speak very well about him also.
Dr. Amy Garcia is not only an amazing skilled surgeon, she is a wonderfully caring person. i am a person who tends to avoid conventional medicine but found myself in need of a hysterectomy due to large fibroids dilating my kidneys. Dr. Garcia is fellowship trained on minimally invasive gyn surgery. I was told by another clinic that my only option was an open hysterectomy vertical incision. I had a seven month sized uterus that needed to come out. Dr. Garcia was not the least intimidated and told me what my options were and eased all fears. I wanted to schedule surgery right away but she would not let me until I had at least 24 hours to think about it..research..talk to others and make sure I really was comfortable with her and my decision. This is in contrast to the other clinic using high pressure sales tactics to try to get me to agree to surgery like it was a used car! I started seeing Dr. Tam a couple years ago for routine gynecological exams and irregular pap follow up. At a visit in Fall 2013, she asked if I had a history of breast cancer in my family, and when I said yes, she recommended I take a genetic test to determine if I had a predisposition to breast and ovarian cancers. When I came back with a positive BRCA1 mutation, she worked with me to decide what preventative options were best for me. I decided to have a complete hysterectomy, which she did using the da Vinci robotic procedure. The surgery went smoothly, and she has been available night and day to answer my questions and address my concerns. I have recommended several of my friends to her because I believe she truly cares about her patients, and her standards are beyond excellent.
